Trump has every right to be enraged that four years after Barack Obama’s top henchmen concocted and executed the biggest political scandal of all time, not one person has been held criminally responsible while trials against his associates drag on.
In May 2019, Attorney General William Barr made an announcement millions of Americans had been waiting for: A U.S. attorney outside the Beltway would investigate the corrupt origins of the FBI’s probe into Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and government efforts to sabotage the incoming president after he was elected.
For the past 14 months, we have been waiting (impatiently, I confess) for news from John Durham, the Connecticut prosecutor Barr tapped to lead the long-delayed inquiry. After all, by the time the attorney general initiated the targeted probe, there was plenty of evidence of wrongdoing by top officials in the Obama Administration, including James Comey, John Brennan, and Andrew McCabe among others. Special Counsel Robert Mueller had wrapped up his two-year partisan witch hunt and despite unlimited resources—along with the unflinching support of Republicans on Capitol Hill—Barack Obama’s former FBI director could find no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

Yes, true. Trump hired the treacherous Sessions, who almost strangled his Presidency at birth. He hired people like Bolton and McMaster.
I think its partially his temperament, but it also proves that most Presidents must rely on the DC Swamp and Machine to fill the thousands of jobs, even top ones. Trump is on his own, and has learned the swamp-machine candidates will stab him in the back at every turn.
Even those of us paying attention fail to realize how much the deep-state and permanent bureaucracy really runs things in the USA.
Republicans need to go on a ‘jury duty’ strike until there is ‘some’ kind of justice here.

I told you all! When Durham was announced, to great conservative fanfare, I said it was yet another distraction that would lead nowhere. I was attacked. Well here we are. NO part of this criminal system will lift a finger in defense of Trump.

I've had it with all of these investigations which fade into the sunset and promises of prosecutions which never come to pass.
We are being played and placated by the Deep State to think that someone in the slimy Swamp of DC really cares and "will get to the bottom of this corruption and treason".

He should have cleaned house from the outset. I can somewhat understand why an outsider would look to GOP insiders for advice but his trust/reliance on them was a mistake of historic proportions that had huge implications.
He would have done better to go to the VMI graduating class to fill positions.

If Trump loses things may get interesting. But if he wins, they may get MORE interesting.

But John Durham scowls most menacingly at the camera each time that particular photo is posted, so he must be serious about his objectives.
It is just that we have still no idea how he intends to present his findings, if in fact he has any at all that actually address the apparent inconsistencies that have cropped in so many corners in regards of the Department of Justice.
Durham has been hinting lately that he does not think he will conclude investigation by election. I think he is stalling because, in his mind he has calculated if Trump is not elected, the new Dem AG will not pursue any prosecutions he recommends and his work will be all for naught, His investigation will be shut down as soon as the new Dem AG takes office. If Trump is reelected then he may start returning recommendations to prosecute to AG Barr knowing they will be pursued.

I’m still waiting for Larry Klayman to lower the boom on the Clintons. He told us back in the 1990’s that justice was coming any day now. He just needed a few more donations to keep going.
Don’t know what this means, but went to Google to look up info re Durham, and the first thing I saw was an article from NEWSDAY with the title:”Barr upends U.S. Attorney succession in Eastern District New York.
The article says that on July 10 at 7:10pm, President Trump signed an EO to install Seth DuCharme as acting Us Attorney for EDNY, and then wrote about Barr swearing him in.
Apparently, Demonrats are OUTRAGED.

Y’all do remember that the indictments were supposed to come right before the mid-terms to save the House. That was almost 2 years ago!
