To: Harmless Teddy Bear

I loved that song when it first came out because it was a blast to dance to and just generally fun.

Now I love it for the lyrics. ;)

I saw the Clash 3 times live. All amazing concerts. Extreme leftists but they could rock with the best of them. They didn’t do too much chatter between songs. I think the template for punk rock was set by the Ramones who basically did short songs followed by a short pause and then 1234 go! right into the next song. In their heyday a Ramones concert was non stop energy and the rest of punk rock followed.

I pull up the video every now and then.

In this case the song fits as it was inspired by the ban on Western music in Iran.
