What is being lost in the weeds is the effect of Amazon's ban of Redskins merchandise on its Mom and Pop third-party sellers.
How many of these sellers are just small-time operators barely getting by? How many placed orders with manufacturers and paid for merchandise in advance of the anticipated season? And, this before the name Redskins became a pariah? I think there there is a high probability given that the Redskins are [were] a top-selling brand.
I agree that Amazon has the right to ban the merchandise, as any private entity can. However, I believe that the Mom and Pop sellers [as long as they can prove hardship] should be compensated by Bezos directly rather than being forced to bend over and take it in the shorts. He can certainly afford it.
So the Mom and Pop Redskin sellers are out of luck. But the Mom and Pop Stalin sellers are doing just fine.
Mom and pop? I doubt it. Much of that merchandise probably comes from China. Like the majority of cheap marketing memorabilia thats sold in America.
Two months ago I ordered a phone case. A simple five dollar piece of plastic for my iPhone. It came from Hong Kong via great Britain to my home in Texas. It took six weeks.
Have you tried to buy a North Dakota “Fighting Sioux” hockey sweater, lately?
They are bringing several hundred dollars, if you can find one.
These vendors, who take delivery, have bought highly valued colletor’s items, worth many times their original value.
They will be sold as limited collector’s items at a premium somewhere other than amazon.
6 weeks? On Amazon?
amazon and their third party sellers is getting just bad- losing orders- have had one now stuck in ‘outgoing’ whatever that means, for 3 1/2 weeks now- just called on it- they of course ‘are sorry- how about $20 credit on card as compensation’? Another order i have no idea where it’s at- another order sent wrong items- Went for years- no problems with amazon at all- but all of a sudden now they are pulling all this crap-
Yeah. It wasnt prime. And they kept sending me notices that delivery was delayed due to COVID-19.
they should seriously start selling the same stuff except change the name to ‘Foreskins’. start a movement

Lead Times are about 6 months, if they ordered anything they will have to sell it one way or another.
NFL Logo and Team Gear is licensed so I suspect it only hurts the license holders. Nike.. etc.
...the effect of Amazon's ban of Redskins merchandise on its Mom and Pop third-party sellers.
Probably very few. Licensed NFL merch really comes from the league and the teams. And really expensive because of it. Just searched for another team. Almost everything is Prime 1 day. So sold by Amazon, not 3rd party.
Can you buy a similar Hitler shirt?
I’m going to guess No.
Selling Stalin and Mao and Che shirts is unconscionable. They were mass murderers of the worst sort.

The whole thing is repulsive. And to make matters worse, Che is seen as a folk hero among many young people. Here is Che saying that it is perfectly okay to murder your political opponents:
To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary. These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate. We must create the pedagogy of the execution wall.
