A Twitter user who goes by Wolf The Red identified them from their Instagram accounts where he found the group modeling haute couture or publicizing their film credits, but “zero prior demonstrations. No posts with guns. No calls to action.”

We do disagree, but the only way you can say with any certainty that I am wrong is if you are a service member who would desert and violate his oath.

It doesn’t matter where your family is located. Do you really want to go out wherever the military sends you, even if just 10 miles to town, over night, knowing your family is back there on base? Do you really think the bad guys won’t attack that base? Ragheads with rusty weapons kept the middle east very interesting.
Entire divisions of the British Army could not find or subdue a couple 100 “active IRA” during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
The IRA could have easily turned off the power grid on a weekly basis, if that had been their desire. Or sniped at food delivery trucks.
The Brits quit and went home when the IRA took their campaign to London.
Northern Ireland (Ulster) is 2 million people on 8,000 square miles. That’s the size of New Jersey, which has 4X the population.
The British Army quit and went home.
The US military could not in a thousand years save or restore order to or feed a dozen imploding “American Beiruts.”
Once they realize they will be shot on sight out of their turf, they will go full Rwanda on every white left in their turf.

The IRA is an excellent example of an intelligent home field advantage against a government. The IRA kept that conflict going for decades. As you said, if they really wanted to go further they could have.

Their final chess move was car bombs in the London City financial district. They set them off on weekends at night to minimize casualties. They wanted political pressure, not to galvanize British resolve with casualties.
ISIS or AQ would have set them off at 0900 on Monday.

I’ve lived in and out of the military. Lived all around the world. Saw conflict. Been out plenty.
You are placing all your thoughts on the military. It is you that hasn’t seen the big picture.
Maybe they can start going on Hunger Strikes.
There is a vast difference between operating out of a secure fire base 5K miles away from your family, safe back in the USA, and a modern civil war.
In an American dirty civil war, the families of the troops, cops, militias, criminals and terrorists will all live together or nearby.
There will be no “safe rear area” for the SWAT cops sent on gun confiscation missions, for example.
Or any cops, or any soldiers.
Think Beirut 1985, with everybody going at everybody.
Not your family safe in Tennessee while you fight in Afghanistan.
Your house is the target so you need to get your family out of it as quickly as possible. A below grade ditch leading to the trees behind the house. Build a redoubt back there of packed earth and timber camouflaged so it is not visible from around the house. Stockpiled with food and ammo.
Did I mention an early warning system like Ring so you know what is up before they can surround your place?
Practice retreating to the redoubt and staying there overnight. Also plan to retire from the redoubt to a third location. You can also place hidey holes so that family members that cant move fast can hide out and not be visible.

I’m getting the distinct impression you are hoping this happens because you have been mentally and financially investing in this total social break down scenario for years. It’s like the rapture, you just know it’s coming in your lifetime. You want it to happen. You prepared scenarios in your mind, planned out your escape routes. You planned out defensive ideas and dismissively acknowledge that other people will be killed in that best defense is a good offense scenario. You have even decided what your neighbors roles will be when your glorious battle begins. You going to lead them? Are you going to make the tactical decisions? No you are hoping some operator takes charge and you will be like Dev Group. Your team stopping thugs from the urban areas raiding into the countryside. Of course they are only raiding because you stopped food from getting into the urban areas by blocking the highways. That will show them right? Of course there will be some innocents who will starve, but it’s justified in the name of defending my family. You said “I’ve lived”, but did you serve? You talk the talk, but did you walk the walk?
