Not in a civil war you didn’t. Again, you’re missing the entire point of this thread.
There is a vast difference between operating out of a secure fire base 5K miles away from your family, safe back in the USA, and a modern civil war.
In an American dirty civil war, the families of the troops, cops, militias, criminals and terrorists will all live together or nearby.
There will be no “safe rear area” for the SWAT cops sent on gun confiscation missions, for example.
Or any cops, or any soldiers.
Think Beirut 1985, with everybody going at everybody.
Not your family safe in Tennessee while you fight in Afghanistan.
