Within a few days, an activist on Twitter sussed out that the group was comprised of models and actors from Atlanta’s film and entertainment industries. A Twitter user who goes by Wolf The Red identified them from their Instagram accounts where he found the group modeling haute couture or publicizing their film credits, but “zero prior demonstrations. No posts with guns. No calls to action.”

If I did pull together 200 white guys all dressed alike they would be arrested and charged with every thing the system could throw at them including jaywalking.
I was mocking the Grand Master’s statement that it was a “Costumes” event.
Matt, is this implication here that retired US Military personnel are training insurgents?
Grand Master Jay, aka John Fitzgerald Johnson, is not retired. He was just a reservist many years ago.
His skill lies in his charisma. If you doubt this, just try to get 200+ folks, dressed similarly according to your taste, with long guns, to assemble on hostile ground and then march them in ranks and files according to your orders.
This is impressive regardless of their training or weapons skill.
It doesn’t take much training or weapons skill to pull off, say, home invasions.
200 “troops” = 20 squads of ten. One former soldier plus 9 willing troops would be very formidable for home invasions. Imagine them attacking isolated homes at 0300, by surprise, South African farm attack style.

It will never be “our” 200 vs “their” 200 meeting on the field of battle. That is not “dirty war” reality.
It will be “their” 200 in groups of ten doing home invasions, by surprise, on their timing.
“Our” militia will be your neighborhood “quick reaction force” as CW2 escalates.
The question will be, how fast can your neighborhood QRF respond to a surprise attack home invasion? One home cannot be defended against ten attackers who open with volleys of gunfire, vehicles smashing in the doors, etc. (South Africa farm attack style.)
Eventually, your neighborhood will have to cut off access and become a single-entrance gated community, with volunteers standing guard, and the QRF ready to go.
Isolated rural properties will be very difficult to defend. The “enemy” can already do recon/pick targets via google earth satellite imagery. Isolated 4,000’ home on ten acres, big swimming pool, big RV, boat on trailer. Check social media: One dad, one mom, 2 daughters.
It doesn’t take a lot of training to have one guy with a scoped rifle hiding in the weeds until he sees dad checking the mailbox. Bang. Dad is gone. Now it’s mom and daughters and ten home invaders. It won’t matter what kind of sights are on their rifles then.
At least a subdivision of approx. 100 homes can gate itself off, and stand up a guard force and QRF.

How are are they going to ‘get there’ and back? They do not have the transportation systems to get anywhere. Nor does the “community” have the health to walk there.
The “threat” in an inner city is one thing—and I doubt that the desire is really there—but they cannot operate effectively outside of their current “territory.” They will be unable to move, they will be outnumbered, and they would be out-gunned.
The people running this stuff understand the power of the images and the propaganda value. They also understand their “target audience.” The older white folk were terrified when then saw this “army”, dressed in black, marching up the road.
That is exactly the reaction they were looking for. It was a provocative action, but it was completely legal. They are looking for a response.
I understand your points and a dedicated, moderately equipped, and highly motivated group could do what you describe.
This is not that group.
I would never argue tactics with you. But these folks do not have the will, the way, or the terrain to win over a superior force.

Already I have gotten reports of “urban yutes” doing obvious target recon in rural but pricey Florida on quad ATVs with binoculars, etc.
Their smart phones show the google maps and images, so they can locate the nice targets with no near neighbors. Nice house, nice pool, RV, boat = $$$. Social media shows the family present. Pick some potential targets while at home, then drive out for an eyeball check of the lay of the land, fences, gates, security cameras or not, etc.
Folks better wake up to what can be coming.
It will never be 200 moving in a unit, that was a “show of force” meant to be a recruiting tool for Boss Jay.
It will be groups of five to a dozen doing ambushes and home invasions, South African home invasion style.
Until the on-the-ground ROE change to “shoot on sight” pro-actively. This will lead to a virtual race war.

Best yet, don’t wait to be hunted in your neighborhood. Go kill the SOBs in their hoods. One thing I’ve known of these types is that they are cowards; stupid, belligerent, and savage, but cowards. Go kill them first. Wage genocide on them. They won’t last long.

They do recon in Colorado by sending teenage yutes to sell or collect money for charity door to door. A van drops off several yutes who go door to door, collecting intel on who is home and what they can see inside the home. They go back to the adults in the van and tell them. A few days later there is a crime spree of home invasions.
We live 30 miles outside Denver and Colorado Springs and every summer these criminals show up.
So what’s the play here Matt? My wife and I opening fire with shotguns and pistols on 10 guys invading our home at 3 AM may not result in victory, but to OldGoatCPO’s point, if those 10 guys aren’t drilled in live fire exercises or otherwise panic when shot at, they may be functionally effective as 3-5 properly trained soldiers. Again, odds are not in our favor, but I don’t suspect that military background among these conscripts to the leftist cause is going to be substantial. Or am I being shortsighted?
Bottom line, put fear aside, how do we prepare? Or can we? The Founders put “well-regulated” into the 2A to mean prepared. I’ve done my fair share of tactical shooter training, but I’m not confident in my ability to overwhelm 10 men. What are our preparatory options? Seek out vets and ask them to train us?

I live in an area with maybe 2000 homes. A third are prior military and many are currently uniformed. We would easily put up a force that would slaughter all comers. We’ve got a SEAL Master Chief, several Special Forces officers, a dozen Rangers, CIA Special Operations, Marines, and a whole bunch more. Against a rag-tag poser group, they don’t stand a chance. Controlled access routes and a heavy forest all around. We can cut off a major freeway and all roads north and south. Many places across the country are like this. The idiots be confined to the cities where they will starve and die. All supply routes into Denver and Colorado Springs are easily cut off, not to mention their electrical, water supplies.
I think if the idiots go savage on rural America then law enforcement will be ineffective and the hunt is on.
They ONLY reason these idiots have visibility is because the liberal media wants to give them air time as part of their the destroy America crap and because we haven’t assembled to slaughter them.
Self-defense is an entirely different scenario as I pointed out in my comments. You do what needs to be done when it is in defense of yourself and family. We had a young boy a few years back whose home was invaded by two thugs. He had to protect his sister so he killed both. The thugs tried to run after the first round of buckshot but both were hit, I believe one died in the house the other bleed out on the lawn. That boy did what needed doing. Looters are not looking to die, they do not want a fight, they want your property. Looters are willingly to kill you for it, but they are not willing to die to get it.
Armed citizens going out to battle against another armed opponent is a horse of a different color. I’ve read a lot of bravado about how easy it would be to take those 200 Panthers out. It is not the ability the 200 Panthers I am questioning, I certainly have my doubts. It is the ability of the majority of gun owners, especially those trash talking, to function in actual combat.
Wise words. It may have been paid actors this time.

you’re absolutely correct. This is more akin to the Irish Troubles but with a dose of Rhodesia/Hutsi/Tutsi/Africa Tribalism thrown in.
I would add that turnabout is fair play. Their side can expect the same in return. As CW2 escalates, so will the atrocities. I don’t believe we are understanding fully what lies ahead in this regard.
Imagine 50,000 mostly autonomous cells of 2-10 people (women are involved too) carrying out random opportunistic hit and run ambushes, assassinations, mass shooting, raids on warehouses, kidnappings and bombings. I believe the national guard will mostly be used to guard state and federal property, that’s it. Many may walk off the job to protect their own families.
All people should be considering how they would protect themselves, their families and the Republic in this type of extremely dirty CW.... which is in its initial ‘hot’ stages.

I've twice been the victim of gun violence, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that nothing prepares you to pull that trigger; and nothing prepares you for the years after you do.
A tac instructor once told me:
"People who say 'Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6' don't have a clue about the realities of armed self-defense. When you pull that trigger in armed self-defense, your life is in jeopardy three times:
Worst 3 years of my life, and even 20 years on, I'm uncomfortable talking about it; but people need to understand that this isn't like in the movies. That's the problem I see: so many "tough guys" think it'll be like the Matrix or any action movie. The event and the aftermath are like nothing you've ever prepared for or will ever experience.
Pray for our country.
Defenders have a real advantage. The “usual” ratio is 10 to 1 attackers to defenders. You have the home field advantage and hopefully you’ve taken advantage of that.
1. Have a plan.
2. Practice the plan.
3. Revise the plan as needed.
4. Practice the new plan.
Form mutual defense organizations in your neighborhood. The time to do that is now if you haven’t already.
If they come for you and yours stack them deep and dead.
