Utah congressional Republican candidate Burgess Owens told Breitbart News Saturday that America will see a “true renaissance” with President Donald Trump re-elected for a second term and a Republican majority in the House of Representatives.
Owens - a former Oakland Raiders safety and Super Bowl champion - recently won Utah’s fourth congressional district primary. The black conservative hopes to unseat freshman swing district Democrat Rep. Ben McAdams.
Owens said that, ahead of the 2020 November elections, that conservatives are fighting for the “soul” of the nation.
“At stake right now, we are fighting for the heart and soul of our nation. And I think it’s more evident today that we have an ideology that is way against our country’s values,” Owens told Breitbart News Saturday host Matthew Boyle.

“The Democrats must have it to keep their chaos, and we must have it to have our culture,” he said.
“It’s a spiritual war we’re fighting,” he added.
Owens said that the country would experience a rebirth during Trump’s second term in office and with a Republican majority in both chambers of Congress.
“We’re going to take back the House” with a group of patriots, Owens said. He added that it would give Trump “the ability” to govern “without both hands behind his back.”

I’ve listened to some of his interviews on American Thought Leaders (Youtube, Epoch Times.). He is wonderful. He is the kind of role model needed right now.
A GOP House that thwarted him at every turn.
The next GOP House had better be Trump Republicans and not Bush League Republicans.

If Trump wins, I don’t see how we don’t take back the House. There is not nearly as much ticket splitting as their used to be. A lot of the House races lost last year were by very small margins.
This is my concern. The elections in '16 were a dress rehearsal for the Democrat vote fraud machine, and they were able to swing races that left a lot of people wondering what was going on.
I use Florida's Agriculture Commissioner race as an example. The returns for Florida's top of ballot races were a landslide for the Republicans with the notable exception of Nikki Fried winning agriculture, and it was by such a margin that most of us knew what was really going on. She's been a joke.
I'm sure their intentions are nefarious, but luckily their incompetence will overwhelm them. Think of the bang-up job they did back in the Iowa caucus. By the way, have they finished counting those primary votes yet?
Sounds like this man fights. Elect him to the US House, Utah.
