Utah congressional Republican candidate Burgess Owens told Breitbart News Saturday that America will see a “true renaissance” with President Donald Trump re-elected for a second term and a Republican majority in the House of Representatives.
Owens - a former Oakland Raiders safety and Super Bowl champion - recently won Utah’s fourth congressional district primary. The black conservative hopes to unseat freshman swing district Democrat Rep. Ben McAdams.
Owens said that, ahead of the 2020 November elections, that conservatives are fighting for the “soul” of the nation.
“At stake right now, we are fighting for the heart and soul of our nation. And I think it’s more evident today that we have an ideology that is way against our country’s values,” Owens told Breitbart News Saturday host Matthew Boyle.

“The Democrats must have it to keep their chaos, and we must have it to have our culture,” he said.
“It’s a spiritual war we’re fighting,” he added.
Owens said that the country would experience a rebirth during Trump’s second term in office and with a Republican majority in both chambers of Congress.
“We’re going to take back the House” with a group of patriots, Owens said. He added that it would give Trump “the ability” to govern “without both hands behind his back.”

It won’t matter who wins. Chaos will erupt. Mark my word.
If I had to guess, the composition will stay roughly the same as it is. The House isn't likely to shift, I'm afraid. We might gain a seat or two in the Senate.
I truly hope I'm wrong. The winds seem to be to Trump's back if he can keep his sails true, but the Dems are going to pull out every possible stop to take him down before November.
Belichick and Brady?
Even with a Trump win there is no reconciliation here. These people flat out hate America and everything we hold dear.
Trump *had* a GOP house until the mid-terms.
Technically, Brady is no longer a Patriot.
I don’t know. Of course I live in north Alabama, but EVERYBODY I know is livid about current circumstances, to a degree I have never seen before. And it is not Trump they are blaming.

GOP lite House. If he can help he Republicans re-take the House, it will be with people who will give him support recognizing he helped them get there. Ryan and many others that hindered his work are gone.

President Washington sent troops to quell the Whiskey Rebellion, and several ringleaders were hanged. This needs to be done here and now to the commies trying to incite rebellion.
All these complaining snowflakes should be told there is no wall or iron curtain keeping them here. They can leave to another country of their choice, or stay here and behave. Or be dealt with if they don’t.

Agreed, but I believe that if Trump is reelected, the chaos and anarchy will swiftly be put down.
I’m inclined to agree with you. The majority of folks are going ballistic about all of this. We’ve been cooped up in our homes at the behest of people who have dubious provenance, we are being force fed guilt by every organization imaginable, we’re being told we can’t go to our houses of worship. Something’s gotta give.
Some of the major metros that voted for Hillary may turn, but I think the Democrat vote fraud machine is primed and ready to rock.
Congressman, you need to convey that to the junior senator from your state.
I just have to believe that Trump and the DOJ are loaded for bear on vote fraud. Nothing really to base that on, but clearly he knows it is coming. It is not like him not to have a good plan in place.
That was MY word a few months ago .... we’re in it now.
I hope he gets in the Senate and knocks the living $hit out of that phony asswipe from his state, Mitt Romney... Well, in a sane world it would happen.
Trump deserves to have a fully on-board house and Senate. He’s earned it.
