If you mean the SC justice....well that would be hugh!
I saw “Concentration” being taped in New York when I was a kid in the early to mid 1960’s, along with my mother and sister.
When I watched it at home, I briefly saw myself in the audience and the camera quickly panned those in attendance.
I see what you did there.
RIP Hugh!
He made it to 20/20
He was doing a show about old people as an old person 30 years ago on PBS (”Over Easy”).
Well, we already had Johnny Mandel and Linda Cristal so that fills out the three.
With Hugh we can start a new group.
I also thought he was dead.
“I thought he WAS dead.....................”
Seriously. Is Abe Vigoda still around too?
Happy Gilmore: Golfing requires goofy clothes and a fat ass. You should talk to my neighbor, the accountant. Huge ass.
its a good time to pass away I think......before the “troubles” happen...and we’re going to have troubles...
They're in denial!
20/20 was a disgrace. A despicable degradation of “journalism”. Good riddance, schmuck.
Wow
Good for him
Rest in Peace

Im not sure why they needed to clear that up. When you are 99 years old a hangnail can be fatal.
I love it!
Sounds like Hugh’s family actually gets that the fake news media and many hospitals are fudging/inflating China Flu numbers....and, they don’t want anyone messing w/Hugh’s cause of death. Likely natural causes/age related.
RIP, Hugh....you had a great run.
Apropos of nothing.
You know how sometimes when you were a kid you didn’t always make connections? Or in this case, make differentiations?
I, for years didn’t realize Hugh Downs and Hugh Beaumont (from Leave It to Beaver) weren’t the same person.
I guess I subconsciously confused Tony DOW (who played Wally Cleaver) with the DOWNS name. And ran it all together in my little pea brain at the time.
>...its a good time to pass away I think......before the troubles happen..<
.
Do you perhaps mean “tribulations”?
20/20
Hugh Downs. Barbara Walters. Geraldo Rivera.
Out of those three... you have to admit, Downs had the most class.
