About 300 teens were exposed to Covid-19 at a "pong fest" party in Lakeway, Texas, on June 20, local officials say.
At the time of the party, several teens were waiting for their Covid-19 test results, and have since tested positive, according to Shelly Parks, a spokesperson with Austin Homeland Security & Emergency Management.

Absolutely! We need more teenagers exposed, not fewer.
You weaken your immunity against ALL bugs.
And how many times do you have to wash down your counters, door knobs etc.....if nothing has changed in your household.
So I go to the store...am near no one......but everyone is the enemy.....
I go home, wash my hands, put the food in the fridge, wipe everything down.....but if I was near no one who is masked and behind a shield, how do I catch this bug?
I am amazed at how the covid can pick and choose victims.
You can mingle with your BLM hoodlums
You can sing and dance to celebrate lgbtqsxdfghjk
But you cannot be free to live your life and make a living
Wonder why tabloid CNN never runs headlines to this effect:
Hundreds of teens at BLM protests in XYZ exposed to coronavirus.....
If it was the old game of "Pong", maybe the youth of today aren't completely lost..."

Oh, my Goodness! Several teens tested as positive. That means that some of them might even get sick - with all that entails (i.e., headachy, sniffles, a few days feeling "under the weather").
The only sensible response is for the state government to completely shut down the state economy!
Anyone who doesn't support that is a... uh, ummm... a racist! Yeah, that's the ticket!

We are turning the world into that Sliders episode where everyone goes into a quarantine bubble and the simple common cold is deadly...
Ah, Lakeway - home of the high school bumper sticker that reads, were white, were rich, and were better than you. Does this surprise anybody?
1000 times yes
Covid 19 is most likely in your car, in your home, in YOU, even. There is no escaping it.
What you can do is keep the viral load down by washing your hands and keeping them off your face, rinsing out your sinuses, and gargling twice a day with antiseptic mouth wash.
Then go about your life.
But what do I know?
The sh** dies without a host.
Teens are not at risk, the herd will survive!!!
Teenagers, and young adults, are mostly liberal, and are the ones who are spreading COVID now, because they are idiots who don’t care about social distancing, wearing masks, or getting tested and staying home if they don’t feel well.
They went to protests, probably spread the disease to their friends, nobody had symptoms, they go to parties with hundreds of people, they sleep at the beach 50 to a house, and then the media blames “red states” for being selfish.
If the red states could just ban liberal people under 25 from leaving their houses, I think we’d have mostly stopped the spread of covid by now.
You read that differently from me. For me, that was “several teens thought they had it, and had gotten tested, and were waiting for results, but still thought it was fine to go party and spread it to all of their friends”
Teens, especially liberal ones, are very selfish.
How many hundreds of these kids now are dead from Pongfestcoronavirusscamhoaxplandemic....?
I’ll make one guess, it’s a simple number, not really number at all....
ZERO
But hey, they will kill all of their great grandparents for sure!
If you are engaging in any activity that might benefit the Republican Party - however tangentially - then your COVID-19 risk is off the charts. Otherwise, it wont affect you. :)
Your "reading" of the original article is correct. So was my reading.
From my posting, you should not infer that I "read" the article any differently. Nothing in my posting suggests that I "read" the article any differently than you.
I completely understood that some of the teens had already been tested, and were waiting for their results, and had attended the party before receiving those results.
Doesn't alter my opinion: All it means is that (after the party) some of the teens finally received their results - namely: that they were infected (not that they were necessarily sick; not that they necessarily had already infected anyone else; not that they necessarily were going to get sick; not that they necessarily were going to die from COVID).
A nothing-burger!
