True, about the lack of scripture. No “Thus saith the Lord...” But, he wasn’t prophesying. I guess it was more like the “writing on the wall” from Daniel 5.

True, I agree. One problem I have With this is the specificity of the dream. If those Very specific things do not come to pass, he has a way out. I am a bible believing person and minister who believes and practices the gifts of the spirit. I know the Assembly of God well. They are full of false prophets who always leave themselves “ways out” in every prophesy they give.

That said, God could have given him the dream.

Thanks for your observations. I haven’t heard anything about the AoG’s in years.

On a somewhat related subject, did you see this:

Edgy voters might reject the 2020 election results if the Democrat wins the popular vote but loses the electoral vote - https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3860998/posts

Have you considered that God did not give this Pastor these dreams, but he has sensed the future events in a broad category, as in remote viewing? The ‘first busting the calendar in November may just be satan angry that so many were gathered away to Christ BEFORE satan’s terrorizing started. And so on ...

Interesting! I suppose it depends on the level of cheating. Ballot harvesting may be the leftist nuclear option. I would protest that level of systemic cheating

BTW, when the restrainer is removed in The Departure, the man of sin is revealed, BUT that is not yet the start of the seven years of Jacob’s Troubles. That seven years begins when Israel agrees to a pact with the lawless one, the man of sin. There may be as many as three or four years between the Departure and the beginning of the seven years Tribulation.

[ Article has several signs recently posted at businesses regarding the shortage of coins. ]

Indeed this has happened with another large (unnamed) convenience store chain (I just talked about them on a Walmart thread - click on my username to see that thread).

Makes me wonder if a shortage of coins will further the cashless thing. Yes, I wondered that the first time I saw the sign. I had to read it twice to be certain I was reading it correctly. >>>>>This is chain is offering to BUY coins you have (in even dollar denominations of course)<<<<<.

I am very careful unless I receive a direct Word from the Lord, which is rare, but always accurate. Frankly, I pay the price when I don’t pay attention.

That being said, his dream would be more credible if he had uploaded the video back in December, or whatever.

Now that being said, I had something (no details at this point) occur years ago. Which was then confirmed, pretty much, when I got up the next day and read the following thread. No, to be fair, it is FAR from specific. I can only say this thread hit home for me and I made a comment again, this year, near the end of the thread.

https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3303024/posts?q=1&;page=400#390

Now, regarding dreams, I have had only one, possibly two that proved to be correct and prophetic but they were personal only to me.

Before Obama was elected, I had a very stark dream, during the last months of the Bush presidency, of Air Force one taking off in a scramble mode, while 3 nuclear weapons detonated in the distance (almost simultaneously which is not how they do it).

Obviously that never came true and that was over 10 years ago. BUT I had recently been watching “Sum of All Fears” so that explained it to me.

Nonetheless, we are in dangerous times and the last days. With that I concur.

The Walmart thread is here:

It discusses a pilot store of all self-checkout machines.

Dreams. OK, a couple days ago I had one, I wrote down as much as I could remember as soon as I woke up. I almost NEVER do that:

I was shucking corn for a commune, mosque or church or something with that vague look and feel.

We’d peel the husks and toss the ears into a pit in the center of the parking lot between three big brick buildings and the alley access.

I grabbed the next one and as I pealed the husk back the corn inside was totally black as if it had been filled with soot.

They said just throw it in the pit with the rest of the shucked corn.

I knew it was evil, a fungus to destroy all of our food. managed to get it into a Ziplock bag and get gloves to mostly cover the soot on my hands.

The rest was a nightmare of trying to get into a cleanroom to put my hands in an ultrasonic bath, I couldn’t touch anything even with my gloved hands (there was black dust even on the outsides of them) had to back into unlatched doors to open them, elbow the handles on others and wait for help on some.

Couldn’t unglove the usual way, inverting them to keep the contamination sealed, because the insides and my hands were caked with the spores.

Anyway I did my best to avoid spreading the contamination and did get my hands into the cleaner bath.

Woke up at this point.

I don’t think it was enough to save the crops.

What happens when there isn’t a single ear of edible corn in the mid-west is an exercise left to the reader.

A quart of grain for an entire day’s wages...

If modern prophets are really hearing God speaking to them, then the canon of scripture is not closed.

If what is said is a reminder of something in Scripture, hearing it emphasized does not change or add to Scripture, does it?

I haven't dreamed in a couple of weeks but when I do, it's a doozy.   Since I spent forty years in the telecommunications field, I'm usually back in the day when I am working with the old tip/ring/sleeve 310 plugs and jacks, working trouble tickets, resolving issues for the phone masses.   Back then, it didn't take a genius to know at dawn the summer sun's rays shine directly into microwave tower feed horns crashing the shot.   Or some unreported work crew just created "backhoe fade" on a buried fiber optic cable.   Call before you dig became a saying for a reason.

If I ever have a prognostication about the end times, I will keep it to myself, thank you very much.

[ mosque ]

Hopefully not a mosque. :)

Although I have had Muslim friends, they reject that Christ is the Son of God and the Messiah (by their own book, multiple times).

This is the most fundamental(cough) required tenet to be a believing Christian.

As some of us have wondered, what if the C-19 scare is protecting us from something even worse?

Yes, some sort of famine will be part of the 4 Horsemen.

The Antichrist will be the first horseman. The other three will follow. (Revelation 6).

Hang in there!

A days wage for a loaf of bread (a measure of wheat, a measure of barley). At least that’s how I read it.

The odds of finding me in a mosque in real life are zero as long as I am capable of crawling away from it!

But the dream feel was organizational, like that of a commune or a religious community, or a cult.

Thank you. Excellent summary, that was very helpful.

Perseverando, see post 70 to learn how it's done. Simple courtesy would have led you to put something like this in the first comment. Instead, you were totally obnoxious. Which is proof positive that this entire post is not worth anyone's time.

I saw my first mosque (in person) in the late 1980’s.

Back then I said America is going into captivity. No one understood what I was telling them, even back then.
