In the last several days it has come out that "30 Rock" creator and star Tina Fey has decided that four episodes of the show "30 Rock", will be pulled from viewing because there were incidents of Blackface in them.
I find this all absurd as the very concept of comedy has been turned on it's ear by Political Correctness. The concept of Satire and Sarcasm just no longer has a place in the venue of comedy. I suppose all sorts of past entertainment will now be erased from history.
Anyone old enough to remember Dean Martin and Sammy Davis doing a routine where Dean picks up Sammy and says I want to thank the NAACP for this award?
Anyway the other night I finally decided I was burned out on the riots and everything else so I was looking on Amazon Prime to watch something funny and saw "30 Rock", and started binge watching. Say what you will the show is funny and makes me laugh. I love all the characters, especially Kenneth the Page.
Well last night on season 1 episode 16 I find that it deals with character Liz Lemon dating a black man. It was full of subtle and overt racism. I had to laugh because I wonder when Tina is going to pull this episode also. What Hypocrisy.
Liberals talk a good game but in reality are really Mendacious Hypocrites.
Poetic justice for Sarah Palin.
Communists have no sense of humor.
A dish best served cold..... ;)
In the old days, the court jester was allowed to get away with saying things that no one else was allowed to say because it was couched in “humor”. I have always advocated that comedians should not be muzzled, even if it is “politically incorrect”. Humor, even if it is in poor taste, has it’s function in society. Sadly, that is coming to an end.

Also Chris Rock How not to get your ass kicked by the cops.
I cant. I watch match game with Alec Baldwin as host. Very funny and no politics.
Agreed. As much as I loathe his politics he is very funny as Jack, and I dont see his character as a caricature of a conservative, as is all too common on shows like The Left Wing or or other steaming piles of leftist propaganda.
That is the same episode I was talking about.
Does anybody remember any great comedians in the Soviet Union? How about Nazi Germany or Mao’s China? ..............
Me either.
Note that they all were fixated on political correctness.
I also liked the show. Alec Baldwin as a conservative NBC suit was especially good, almost Trump-like in the role.
Update” As I have been binge watching the show I have come across several episodes that if Tina Fey were honest with herself she would pull as Racist.
Lesson here is, Liberals can write racist comedy along with stereotypes and get away with it, but Conservatives and others can’t.
Good catch... and yeah, the show was funny...
