Wrong - that one event was an inevitable event that would have happened sooner or later. What it did was reveal a festering infection that has began well over 100 years ago. McCarthy was right, he just went about it wrong. We should have moved to make socialism and communism unconstitutional 100 years ago. As others have said, BLM was waiting for an incident to start their election year violence campaign. Its hard to get a perfect incident, so they have to get us to overlook the character of the person involved.
George Floyd was a violent kidnapper, holding a woman at gunpoint in a home invasion.
In their earlier 2014 election year campaign, Michael Brown was so violent because he knew if he was arrested for any minor thing, his earlier store robbery would come to light before he was released.
BLM had to go with these flawed incidents because they were determined to have a violent summer leading into an election.

The same Antifa members rioted to prevent conservatives speakers from speaking on campus and attacked Trump rallies in 2015 and 2016. They were planning to do the same nationwide to “resist” Trump.
BLM members haven’t just rioted for every case where a black person died in custody. They’ve protested after multiple fake hate crimes.

I get what you’re saying, but I agree with the others. The Soros militia were prepared to move, and any trigger would have been used, whatever it was and wherever it was.
When you know how antifa operates, and BLM, the Soros DNC militia... they never just show up, they are deployed.
Their purpose is to run out the clock between now and November, and to try to keep black voters from going over to Trump, and to dominate the news cycle, to keep Trump from getting out his message.
From day one of his administration, the Soros DNC has been deployed to paralyze Trump and tie him down. Hence the attempted coup with Russiagate, the phony impeachment, the virus, and now open street fighting.
