puckers! A pillow on it.
Do a verizon chat
It does that if you watch Tucker Carlson more than once a week
Power cycle your Router first, and then do It to each box you have all around the house.
It will probably take about 15 minutes for everything to come bake up.
“This time, we have tried everything -”
Did you try calling Verizon?
i suggest a firestick 4k
seriously, the post #5 is probably the best thing to do
The battery for your smoke detector is getting low.
It’s downloading instruction to the chip in your head. It will be done in a moment.
Unplug it. Count to 10, and re-plug it.
I’m not sure what “box” you are referring to. Set top box, can’t help. The back up battery box - I can help. The battery needs to be replaced. There should be a button on the box that will pause the beeps for a period of time, or pulling the battery and then re-hooking it can sometimes buy some time.
In any event, if that is the box of which you are speaking, take out the battery (not easy because of the way the retention clips are set up), take it to Battery Plus or somewhere similar, and buy a new one. I think Verizon sells them, but it’s probably easier (and slightly cheaper) to take it to a store.
The beeps are pretty annoying.
Check if the power brick to the unit is working. My neighbor and I had this same issue right after a power outage. The surge when the power returned killed the transformer. There is an LED on the brick (actually a POE injector). If this has gone out, you’re running on battery - hence the beep.
Verizon is yahoo and theyve probably identified you by your online actions as the opposition.
Backup battery dying and needs to be replaced. It’s in big white box somewhere inside your house. Mines near where it comes into house. Its plugged into an outlet. I bought my last replacement at Amazon but you should be able to find locally.
You have been identified as not inclusive. The social inclusive services are on their way. The beeping is to let them know who needs re-education. You have violated the national inclusion and racial sensitivity act of 2027 retroactively. Prepare to be move to the work camps of social justice. Good bye.
Also, FIOS has over charged so many times I stopped keeping count... Have had FIOS for 7 years and only the first 2 were satifactory...
The last contract renewal was a guaranteed charge of 197 per month... That had stealthed up to 272 by the time the contract expired last November... That's with no HBO or any of the other fancey movie channels...
Also the lie about speed... Supposed to have 100 up & 100 down... Now it dribbles in and out at about 70...
Will go for the 1 gb down from Comcast assuming they can give me at least 100 up...
Since the chinese sneak attack occurred I've been marking time till I switch... Maybe in Sept...
All I really need is my Firestick for the things I watch...
Battery.
the backup is for when the power goes out. I assume you have a land line, they converted it to VOIP which requires the power, unlike the old land line with the low voltage which could run in a black out over the copper lines.
Your back up battery has gone, you don’t need it unless the power goes out and unless when the power goes out you actually still rely on the “land line” which is not longer a land line. So disconnect it and feel safe. they do the backup battery because of the laws for 911.
Alternatively you could use a 12 or 9 volt transformer to plug it in, (check what kind of battery it is) splice wires and directly power the battery connections which will fool the trigger that causes that sound. If the power goes out there wouldn’t be any alarm or phone, cause no power.
And yes Verizon sucks and I have had to deal with this before. Fixed it myself, I don’t have time for idiots on the phone.
