Biden says he would use his power as president to mandate masks be worn in public. Trump has more of a relaxed attitude about masks. This is an opportunity to clearly articulate a key difference between the two. Team Trump needs to emphasize this distinction in policy. As bad and as awful as a nationwide mask mandate is right now I guarantee that that policy statement will not age well. In November people will despise masks even more than they do now. DJT - call Biden out now! And hammer on this issue!
Lockdown part 2 is happening right now in Texas and other Republican states. These Governors are dumb for not using this as an opportunity to distinguish their views from those of the tyrant Democrat governors. They need to say lockdowns are dumb. See paragraph 1 - it is clear what Republican Governors should be doing and it isn’t what they are doing now.

Stuns me that in all this talk of “cases”, no one will mention that the virulence of this virus is incredibly low. It really is a huge “so what?” for most people that get it. They wouldn’t even know if not tested! That is a very weak pathogen indeed.
Amazing to me how pervasive this mass delusion is. Even a large percentage of the right have lost their minds. If we tested in the same manner for other pathogens, we would suddenly find they were everywhere too.
Somebody needs to test the constitutionality of the government, at any level, ordering citizens to wear a particular item of clothing.
Private businesses are perfectly welcome to require that, the way they used to say “no shirt no shoes no service,” But that’s a private business exercising its property owner’s freedoms. I have never seen a situation before where the government has ordered people to wear a particular item of clothing, at particular times, and I feel to see how this does not exceed the powers of government at any level.
The death toll keeps falling...did America ever piss their collective pants over the FLU death toll? The death toll from cancer? Diabetes? Heart disease? Of course not. This is NOT about our ‘health’.
