The FBI has determined that NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was not the victim of a hate crime and that a pull rope fashioned like a noose had been on a garage door at Talladega Superspeedway since as early as last fall, NASCAR said Tuesday.

It may not be necessary - you know some of that crowd in that picture really didn't want to be there.

As someone on Twitter just put it: It took 15 FBI agents to crack the case Sundance solved yesterday.
If anything, this non-act showed how scared people are; imagine being a NASCAR driver, hundreds of miles an hour 1 foot from another car, 6 seconds from death at any moment?
And yet, you are so scared of a 4-inch loop in a rope that you are reduced to tears, and require the support of a hundred people pushing your car forward to make you feel “better”?
I am all for a civilized society that never tolerates someone playing cruel pranks. But whenever I hear a friend talking about how hurt they are about something, I always start by asking them why, and why they want to be so vulnerable as to let some random idiot have control over their feelings.
Were these great rank and file 15 FBI agents the same team that raided senior citizen Roger Stone?
His crew told Nascar
Nascar told the public
So that big drama, all the drivers walking behind his car pushing it... that was all bullshit. LOL
They owe reparations to all the white people they jumped to conclusions about.
What a drama queen: “They can’t take away my smile!”
How about now, Bubba?
The instant I saw the over the top histrionics of the other drivers pushing Wallaces car, and Bubba acting all emotional I knew they would look like abject fools in the end.
And I am - was - a Jimmie Johnson fan, and I was told he was one of the ones that organized the historic and powerful pit road push.
Done.
I hope they frickin pay. That thing has been hanging there for years. Now, all of a sudden, it’s a noose. I guess they all see a lyncher around every corner.
As far as I can tell, the article doesn’t explain what the rope was doing there in the first place. Was it actually a “noose,” or a rope whose presence could be explained apart from it being some kind of racial threat?
From pics etc it was to let garage door down/up?
It was a rope used to pull down a garage door.
You loop it in case your hands are wet/greasy
The media and NASCAR owe their fans an apology. They got skewered on the radio and news over the past couple days.
Because they are afraid of Satan.
15 FBI Special Agents and how many man hours to figure out what an overhead door pull is?
This guy Bubba, obviously, is a leading contender for “Most Perpetually Offended”. It was only a matter of time before he would seek the “I’m offended” spotlight.
Expect NASCAR to make heroic efforts to distance Bubba from this noose stink bomb. Brain dead will lap it up.
And, NASCAR expects to gain new fans from this stunt. Good luck keeping the old ones.
