So? You do know the autocomplete helper is fed by what people search for right? It doesn’t mean much of anything. And what other things do you think it should be autocompleting with? Maybe you should type those into google, start spawning them up. What a gigantic waste of time. Read a book or something.

Because there’s NOTHING TO RIG. Really guys, do you bother to understand what the autocomplete is for? It’s just to make so you might have to type less. If you’re searching for something else you keep typing. Going through 52 different combos to “find” some bias is just an exercise in patheticness. Really, what do you think they would actually accomplish by “forcing” these searches on people? Be specific.

People type in partial searches to look for suggestions on what to search.
No. People are typing and the autocomplete is offering them possibilities so they could, hopefully, type less. People aren’t looking for suggestions. They know what they want to search for, it’s just a helper. Just like on any other form, you start typing your name and autocomplete says “hey, you type your name all the time, here it is, click and move on”.
So seeding it with things aren’t actually searching for would do NOTHING. Other than make people keep typing.
Again, it would be stupid. It would accomplish nothing. And thinking they’re doing that is just plain DUMB.
Enter any 3 digit number and “cases”, you’ll get 10 to 1 COVID-19 to anything else.
