The day before yesterday we had the lowest death toll since March. Then yesterday we had the lowest death count for a weekday since March (weekends tend to have fewer deaths than weekdays). Active CV cases are at an all time high. But who cares? People are asymptomatic or have a mild case. We are over this, just not in the eyes of the media.

Essentially micro doses of the virus get into your body when you act like a normal person. When you hide under your bed for months at a time you avoid the micro doses. But this prevents you from building immunity. And if you do get exposed by a family member then you will not be prepared for the large viral load that follows.

Any research on masks and oxygenation? Can’t be healthy to not get full oxygen for hours on end. I can’t stand the masks - I had to wear one for an hour last week and I only made it 5 minutes before pulling it off.

Well, my illustrious overlord has allowed my County to go to “green” this Friday. We’ll see how long it lasts, and what “green” means will morph into. (PA)
Then there are the cloth masks worn over and over without ever being washed. How are they affecting the wearer? The others near the wearer?

With any mask, you are rebreathing your own exhaust, to some extent. Oxygen levels are lowered.

As you are a doctor, is there a chance you can provide me with the types of therapies that are causing the death rates to plunge or is there something else happening. (please note I am not a flu bro. I am interested in your opinion).
Either the virus is attenuating and there is less danger with it which would be most likely and consistent with all pandemics
Or we are no longer afraid to apply standard therapeutics at this time which is improving the death rate
Or we understand that this is a huge problem for the frail elderly and they are being appropriately isolated (skilled nursing) and therefore most new cases are in the young healthy

On Sunday, I went to a local grocery store and was required to put a mask on, and I complied by putting my American made, "TRUMP 2020" face mask on.
It went well with my MAGA hat and my open carried, Smith and Wesson 357 Magnum in my shoulder holster with two speed loaders attached.
I usually carry concealed but since I was going to a store that requires a mask, I thought I'd make my own statement.
The thumbs up out numbered the fast "look aways" that the snowflakes gave me.
No one from the snowflake crowd said any thing but most just pretended not to see a large stainless steel 357 with a 4" barrel.
Under the mask I was smiling, and the people that were thumbs up were enjoying the melting of the lefties.
I was in Westmoreland County, PA, which went 63-35 Trump in 2016 and is very friendly territory {depending where you are}.
There are some places even here that I'd be careful wearing the hat and mask and recognize that lefties can be crazy in any location.
If you are not COMMITTED to real self defense, I'd suggest not to wear Trump gear or open carry.
There is no sense in carrying a weapon that you won't use but the bad guy would take it and use it on you.
Don't do it.
Late yesterday, Pelosi's nephew is threatening to reinstitute the lockdown and re-openings presumably until there are no more new flu cases.
What is important to keep in mind is that all of this -- all of it; every single action taken by every single Democrat/Leftist, by very Never-Trumper (including a few here at FR) and by every ignorant, guilt-ridden "non-black -- is to stall America's economic recovery by maintaining a high level of irrational, unconsolable fear and by keeping Americans at each others' throats.
As I have noted for months, this will continue -- in fact, it will likely accelerate and intensify to November's election -- unless it is stopped ... and the only way it will be stopped is by force. Despite what GOP leaders truly believe, that all of this can be remedied by acquiescence and compromise, it is clear that we are long past negotiation.
I nicely told the lady that we would be up when they returned to the old normal, which is never closed and no masks.
Of course by then, we will probably have spent our money elsewhere.
