We now know from the BLM movement that Thomas Jefferson is persona non grata and all statues of him are to be removed.
As many slaves took their master's last name, I'm thinking the TV Show "The Jeffersons" needs to be banned from reruns and streaming TV.
All vestiges of "jefferson" and his colonialism needs to be eradicated NOW... including Louise and George Jefferson.
Regards,
Black shows from them always depicted whites as slack jawed, usually over weight dumbasses. All in the Family, Good Times. And that tradition continues except for white dads on TV now. White dads are always super stupid, deserving of 0 respect and only good to get a few bucks off of.
Movin’ on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky!
Will Jefferson B. Sessions change his name in mid-campaign?
George was a little worm. Short, self-important, dominating, ill-tempered, manipulating and cruel. He was a boot-licking, spineless little worm who was only interested in money and prestige. The thing is, whites didn’t much care. He was insignificant and frankly, not funny in the least. In real life, Sherman Hemsley never married and left no heirs. He never spoke of any family members whatsoever. He was living with a friend/partner/friend and housekeeper when he died in 2012 in El Paso.
yes he was... and he gave as good as he got against Archie Bunker, the white racist... some of the best scenes were the two of them together.
Also important... 40 years ago... the friendship among meathead, gloria and Lionel. Plus... Edith and Louise were friendly neighbors who were color-blind, at least from Edith’s perspective, she didn’t care that the Jefferson’s were black.
And Good Times, and Sanford and Sons... important shows, breaking through the color barrier....

There was even one episode where Lionel went off on Meathead because he found him to be the typical condescending White Liberal.
