This has the potential to be very embarrassing for NASCAR.
When NASCAR rolled in to Alabama and the Talledega motor speedway, the story of a “rope noose” in the garage of Bubba Wallace grabbed media attention. However, a NASCAR video of the exact garage doors at the Talledega motor speedway shows all of the garages have ropes and nooses on them.

Video at link appears to be from the Truck Series last year. Video shows all garage doors have ropes with loop handles that look like a noose.
From what I understand NASCAR told him about it. And if it turns out all of these places have ropes then maybe he wasn’t involved. I don’t know why they went to him with it.
At the end of the day he’s supporting a terrorist group but this one might not be on him

Not at all. Even if the “noose” turns out to just be a garage door device, there will be no embarrassment. Some spokesperson will say that even those this wasn’t a noose-noose, we still live in a noose culture. Liberals will nod in agreement, and weep.
Then the whole story will get buried.

If those pull ropes are what they were claiming to be ‘the noose’, it does reveal extreme over-sensitivity. Several of those ropes are shown in the video.
I did wonder why, in the earlier threads, no picture of ‘the noose’ was shown.
I have yet to see a photo of the noose they said was found. Nor how it was found or how it got there.
If it’s one of these garage handle things, wouldn’t they have come out and said that by now?
It all sounds very weird when it could be cleared up one way or another fairly easily, I would think. (I could be wrong.) Either it’s one of the handles and they should just say so. Or it’s the real thing and video surveillance and a list of folks with access to the driver’s bay should reveal a person of interest.

Real or hoax whomever did this didn't think it through.
If it's a hoax it's likely the camera 'wasn't recording' and we'll never know who did it.

I was wondering why there were no pictures of the claimed threat noose. The FBI/DOJ are investigating. I wonder if they will figure this out before the season is over.
I don't think there are any sports that will have as many fans as they had last year. Who wants to put up with all their chit.
