Daily Coronavirus deaths for June 19 dropped to 267, the lowest since March 23. Yeah, I know the Sunday stats are the lowest of the week but if you look at the graph below, you see a steady average progression downwards.
Oops! Title should read Daily DEATHS.
Please change “Daily Cases” in title to “Daily Deaths.” Thanx.

Wuhan Flu Deaths
steadily Dropping.
Yeah, steadily dropping as the media heats up the hysteria. Notice how they seem to mostly miss the big DROP in daily deaths?
Gotta keep this and the Black Lives Matter thing going while they think up the next pre-election distraction.
Cases may be on the rise but people are NOT dying from it like they were before..now that we are entering the summer months, where it is very hot outside, the virus doesn’t have the kind of power it had before..I know here in SoCal the death number for today is 11..now since its a Sunday I wouldnt make much of it since its the weekend but hope its a trend in the right direction
Yup,

Scared,
Thanks Media!
Maybe I need my sleep but that latest daily deaths is for June 21 (today), not June 19.
If they want a higher fatality rate, they need to have some “gray lives matter” protests to get the elders out there.
;-)
We understood.
And the bunch of people who drove us insane on this board with their end of world crap over this bug mostly seem to have disappeared.
The mortality rate is no higher than the flu after all.
And whereas kids can get slammed by the flu, they don’t seem to get this thing at all.
No city was ever at any point overwhelmed. That was a lie.
Or nayy ships would have had more than 8 or 9 patients on them.
Many died because idiots like cuomo let the sick into nursing homes.
covid stopped mattering during the “protests” and started mattering again when Trump had a rally.
Apparently the illness leans left.
Thanks for your post. I have noticed the same thing. Deaths are down a lot while cases are up in some states.
I get that the extra testing has caused a bump in the case numbers. I also note that there is an increase in rates in some States to increase the numbers.
I suspect a lot more of these cases are healthier people who likely will not die from it and seniors are better protected than earlier (e.g. New York). That helps too reduce the death rate.
However, does anyone know if we are using better therapies and treatments on this disease to help significantly reduce the death rate?
Things are definitely going in a good direction overall but weekend numbers are always the lowest of the week, followed by a rise. It’s a reporting thing.
Many states are doing much better. The states that didn’t take off early are now heading for their peaks.
Sometime in July it will drop (at its lowest) to below 100 and then by end of August the high will be below 100 with the average no more than about 50 per day if that. By November, virtually gone yet the Democrats will still demand mail in vote (aka fraud). Also I won’t be surprised if Joe Biden continues to use coronavirus as an excuse to remain in his basement (assuming he is actually nominated and not replaced).
The high last week was lower than the low for the week of May 10 so by end of July the high could be no higher than about 270 at the rate it is declining.
