Quite the mix of shows tonight...I can’t place the Charlie McCarthy Show...Benny Goodman...what is Studio X?...the highlight seems to be Counterspy...

Reasoning with the cat, ok. Glad things are under control.

Hi Gina, all is well up here, got a hair cut and went to the gym this week. It had been 3 months.

His grandmother, Tuxedo Cat, sleeps on the Linux tower under my desk at night. It's dark, warm, and I'm right here. But she likes laying in the window during the day to sun herself. He'll come in and get on my desk, twist his head upside-down and poke it under just to stare at her. She's still in the window but it's dark and ugly right now (even the local police issued a weather alert on my scanner) and all the electric window candles have kicked on around the house, so he thinks it should be time for her to be on her perch. I keep telling him to look at the window, she hasn't moved yet. Opportunist that he is, he just got under my desk and is warming his buns on the other computer. Juvenile, stubborn, it's like having kids. Or Democrats. Uh-oh, The Queen is home from work. They all abandoned me. 🤣

Three months since a haircut? Or the gym? Or both?

Yeah, ours were, but I have fine, curly, wavy hair, so I can generally keep the edges, top, etc. trimmed and nobody notices that it’s a DIY cut because it all knits itself together after I shower and dry off. As long as there’s symmetry, it looks fine and nobody’s ever questioned it. Sure, it looks good if I see a stylist, as well, but my hair doesn’t feather or do any of that salon stuff. In fact, there have been countless times women have come up to me and said, “Oh, I wish I had your hair!” No, you don’t. And because of that I’ve encountered stylists who subconsciously feminize my haircut. I’ll stick with the brush, mirror, and scissors, thank you.
