Wow, and a Democrat politician. It’s still possible, then.

This case was brought by the Maryland state special prosecutor. She got 6 months on a state perjury charge, which is to run concurrently with her 3 year federal sentence, meaning she got no additional jail time.
She’s 70 years old now. How would you like to spend 3 years in prison when you probably don’t have very many more years left on this planet. A message to all corrupt politicians.

Interesting that some actually go to prison for perjury.

Horse Face Pugh is doing 36 months in a federal prison already so this is no big deal. It is nice to see a African American woman Demorat go to prison. maybe there is hope Hillary will join Horse Face.

She will be out before Jan. 20, 2021, so Biden could still consider her for VP.

I'll be amazed if she serves more than six hours of it. It will not be FPMITA prison.

Her perjury was about not reporting income from the Healthy Holly books on several required financial disclosure forms. Usually perjury is thought of as lying under oath in a trial or a deposition or congressional hearing, etc. I dont know what bigger offenses and their penalties were probably avoided by her pleading guilty to perjury.
