I think you have not driven a new Mustang with the independent rear suspension........
I’d love one of these new Mach I’s - my first new car when I was 24 and poor was a Bullitt Mustang - incredible set of miracles put the car in my hands. Drove it in the ground, over 100k miles in 3 years - that’s all a car would go in those days. Passed it on to a friend as I did not have the money to fix any of its many problems. But boy did I love that car.
Movie came out 1 month after I got the car and Boom! I was famous......whereever I went.......
imho needs a 7.3L godzilla engine, tuned for speed, mid-engine chassis design, and a pdk shifter :)
Last Mustang I owned was a GT500. I have long got ridden of it. My days of fast cars are over since getting my 2016 AWD Regal GS, one comfortable a** car for my age.
*** “I miss the skill, control, and subtleties of my last car with it’s 5 spd stick” ***
I searched and shopped for a Manual Transmission, they were scarce ... I just like them... why drive if it isn’t fun?
This is beautiful! 70 Boss 302 Mach 1

Yeah I figured they’d go with the traditional sports car look of a clutch for the debut instead of the automatic. But that’s just me.
Nice car, never personally had much luck with Fords except for the ‘66 Mustang I had.
I’ve basically been a Ford guy since my teens, but I’ve owned most major brands, Chevy, Buick, Olds, Nissan, BMW, Dodge, KIA, Fiat...........The one thing they all have in common: They break down at some point...................
It needs a turbo diesel.................

Maybe, but then I would probably just forget to refill the DEF fluid someday, yikes...
With the first ever Dodge Charger equipped with five Hubcaps.
With the first ever Dodge Charger equipped with five Hubcaps. That's right up there with Doc Holiday's 3-shot double-barrel.
When I was a Kid my Older Brother took me to see Bullitt.
As we’re walking out my Brother is laughing and says, I wonder how they got that Hubcap back onto the Charger during the Chase?
I never noticed it, but my Brother always caught stuff like that. I was kind of bummed when he said that since I didn’t notice it. Took away some of the “fantasy” enjoyment of the Chase Scenes.
That and the explosion before the Charger hit anything. I assume that was a one time Take they couldn’t do over.
Still one of the better Chase Scenes, especially in the day of no CGI. The Seven Ups and The French Connection as well.
>>>That’s right up there with Doc Holiday’s 3-shot double-barrel<<<
They must have edited out the scene where he reloaded. LOL
I believe it’s the same take from a different camera angle.
Someone fell asleep in the editing booth.
Of course, Doc then unleashed his automatic revolvers on poor Ike Clanton.
