2 CTA employees off the job after video shows bus driver body slamming man

It's hard to figure out the back story for this caught-on-video moment but one thing is certain, that CTA driver isn't someone to mess with. The eight-second video is just long enough to make you cringe and yell, "damn!" And, yes, someone on Twitter re-dubbed the video with the perfect audio.

So, the workers are now suspended/fired? That’s how the left wins, threatening one’s career or family (ask Flynn about that).
They are not cops so I doubt there are any repercussions on them.
It appeared to me that “pancake” was trying to assault the other bus employee and the driver has the same attitude towards the behavior that every other sane person would have and a fair amount of ability to execute his plan to make his next stop on time.
The link indicated the two drivers were moved from their jobs over this incident. Maybe I’m missing the point, but it looks like there were repercussions for dealing with this idiot.

Why was Mayor Beetlejuice upset about a thug getting body slammed? Is she afraid that we might run out of them?
That is too bad. I suppose there is more to the story, but it certainly appeared that the guy had plenty of room and the ability to walk away from the bus.
Anyone see a further explanation on this? Many people asked in the youtube comments, but nobody knew the “rest of the story.”
