Black students and alumni of a prestigious all-girls school in Manhattan's Upper East SIde have been sharing their stories of racism, prompting response from school administrators. In an Instagram account called @Blackatbrearle, several posts detail instances where both peers and students at Brearley either participated in a microagression or were outright racist towards them. Brearley is a prestigious private school located in the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan. The school has around 700 students, of which approximately 6.4 per cent are black. Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year was above $50,000, according to their website, but the school does offer financial aid. Notable alumni include actresses Kyra Sedgwick and Alexandra Daddario and prominent Kennedy family member, Caroline Kennedy.

It’s kinda funny when elite white liberals get accused of racism, but I read through some of these accusations... and they’re pretty ridiculous. Look, kids insult each other, sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally. They comment on each other’s physical attributes, possessions, foibles, etc. That’s just the reality of being a kid. Unless you’re home-schooled and have no siblings or contact with other children, chances are that you’ll be on the receiving end of some insults or slights or offensive conduct. But it seems that if you’re a black kid at snooty private school, the expectation seems to be that you’re off limits and every bit of negative attention you receive must be classified as “racism.”
Time for those liberals to feel the burn.

Despite that the Daily Mail thinks, the person who created this Instagram account can actually spell Brearley.
We all know how pesky those microaggressions can be.
A lot of “racism” is a very gray area, where it is hard to tell whether it is really “race” that is being criticized.
If someone has a chip on their shoulder, all criticism can be interpreted as racist.
If they have a positive attitude, they may ignore and not even notice real racism.
But—there can be no mistake when universities and businesses intentionally discriminate against you because of your race—and that is exactly what is happening to both whites and Asians right now.
And it happened (or not) some 40 years ago.
Have they not heard black girls calling white girls names? To be sure the name calling vocabulary is much worse today. Oh, no, the horrors of hair pulling! Today, sweet little blacks would jump those mean white girls behind the school and beat them to a pulp and stab them for good measure.
Best friend from many years ago went to Brearly. Liberal yes. Definitely not racist. Her dad was ex military.
And not rich by nyc standards.
