Not sure where I got the impression of unanimous. My bad, but good dig on your part.
Government watchdogs?
More like Government jackals.
Tell ‘em, POTUS!
you too? I was commenting for a friend.
If it was unanimous then I would be firmly on the side of civil war...
I hope the number of repukes is made clear.
I did read that this amendment will only be “real” if the entire Senate votes on it. Then they’d all be on the record.

Not really sure how that comment fits with our narrative. The claim is that a Fed employee can’t be fired even if they commit a crime(McCabe, Strzik, Page, Comey, etc...) How would they rescind a pension?
They're just on the list of commmittee members. It doesn't mean they voted for it. It was secret. But you can demand yours to divulge how they voted. Sen Scott has already gotten it from me.
Yes we need to know the Republicans that let this part get in:
...require the commission to enact an "implementation plan" that includes the "cost and criteria for renaming, among other procedures" and that the plan would have to take effect "within three years after enactment."Three years to make a plan and put it into effect. A lot can happen in three years. Inhofe has said he wants to change the language.
The larger part is there is a lot of other stuff in the NDAA like the Secure US Bases Act. Sen Scott got that amendment. In short it says
"to make sure foreign military students training at US bases are vetted & monitored."to make sure foreign military students training at US bases are vetted & monitored."
Big win! Im glad my Secure US Bases Act was included in the NDAA to make sure foreign military students training at US bases are vetted & monitored.
My amendment to highlight the importance of the Gulf Test Range was also included & I'll keep fighting to protect FL's resources. pic.twitter.com/hkpdVj84Lw— Rick Scott (@SenRickScott) June 11, 2020
Who knows where it will end up in the end because we haven't even seen the full written proposal from Pocahantas.
C&Ping my answer to Melian above:
He does not apologize, actually; he just says “I should not have been there”. And his reason is that it created a certain perception about the military’s involvement in dealing with the rioters.
Hoping this is just some sort of feint by the Trump team.
I join in your prayer.
Why...What's wrong with that?

Lots of hogwash in there....
It gets worse:
Kevin McCarthy: Could Be Appropriate to Rename Some Bases Named After Confederates
*****************
Make them eat their own. Pass an amendment that removes from office any and all persons belonging to any political party associated with the Confederacy.
Make them live up to their own history, rather than trying to wipe out all evidence of their pass stand for slavery.
And some of it is hogwash.
