Anyone else receive this. I know how I replied.

"To our Sam's Club family,

As I write you today, our hearts are heavy with the death of George Floyd, the many others his death has come to represent and the ongoing turmoil in the communities we serve. Since you are the reason we go to work every day, I wanted to take a minute to let you, our members, know where we stand.

As a company, we stand for kindness, empathy and respect for the individual. We believe racism is simply unacceptable. We know there is no easy answer to systemic racial inequality, but we also know that we must act and be part of the solution.

We commit to use our voice and influence as a company to fight for what is right, accelerate change, and show up for our communities, African Americans and other people of color.

On Friday, our parent company, Walmart, and the Walmart Foundation announced a five-year investment of $100 million to create a new center for racial equity in America. These efforts will be focused on the key systems of racial disparity: finance, healthcare, education and criminal justice.

We know this is just the beginning, and that now the hard work begins. Let’s move forward, together.

Thank you for continued support and for being such an important part of our Sam's Club family."

Tell us Sam’s Club, if you believe your own bull sh*t, why didn’t Virtue Signal before this thug died?

I will never be one of your members!

As far as I know, Sam’s Club CEO is a black female and they exhibit disproportionate hiring preferences from what I’ve seen.
We are a year away from having a Costco.

Funny, you want to treat blacks special only after one dies....Why wasn’t this a priority before a black man had to die.....Walmart treats it;s employees like crap..You know when they stopped..When the pressure was put on them..They never do the right thing until they are pressured into it....

“... finance, healthcare, education and criminal justice.”

Soooo....
A center to teach remedial math, the importance of brushing teeth and wearing a rubber, remedial reading, and the importance of not committing crime. All important, I suppose.

The reason Corporations Pander to the Leftists is because Leftists stick together like glue. As President Trump is fond of saying.
Conservatives on the other hand can never seem to agree with each other on nearly anything. Conservatives argue with each other over minutia. Constantly. Conservatives have no clear coherent core principles or messages that we stand by and stick to no matter what.
Dems have their differences within themselves but, they never let that get in their way of showing a united front when push comes to shove.
The Cancel Culture the Leftist engage in is a good example. When Leftists decide Corporate Entity X,Y, or Z is Evil they en masse boycott them. And, further, they will en masse seek to destroy anyone who does not join them.
Conservatives will bitch and complain about certain companies, say, Amazon, but, if we can save a penny we will order from Amazon despite the fact doing so enriches the enemy.
Dems are like brothers who fight each other but, if someone id stupid enough to take the side of one over the other in a threatening manner the brother’s differences is forgotten and they join together.

The CEO of the company where I work put out a similar statement today. I don’t know what the general counsel’s steering is on these things in these corporations but it seems boot on the neck scripted and too common in words to be spontaneous.

It’s nice to have a center for racial equality. Now we have it all in one place and can keep our eye on it. Maybe walmart can give some out with each purchase.

We have as much racial equality as a country can have. Legally everyone is equal. Racism may decrease with each generation, but it will never totally go away.

With $100 million in cash to burn, wouldn’t it be more efficient to just pile it up, douse it with diesel fuel, and then put a match to it?

Oh, is this the same George Floyd who had 4 felonies besides passing counterfeit money. Like the one where he took part in a home invasion where he held a gun to the owner's head while the others ransacked the home. The same George Floyd with advanced coronary artery disease but nonetheless it did not dissuade him from loading up on fentanyl and methamphetamine on the day of his death, and then going crazy in the back of a cop car where he was initially detained.

Yes, that George Floyd, the felon, drug addict, and loser.

I was more than upset when I went to the Sam’s in Port Saint Lucie on Gatlin Blvd and there were three employees who were on the clock wearing BLM shirts and no manager said a word.
Were an employee to wear a Trump 2020 shirt while on the clock they’d be sent home.
