Coronavirus patients who don’t have any symptoms aren’t driving the spread of the virus, World Health Organization officials said Monday, casting doubt on concerns by some researchers that the virus could be difficult to contain due to asymptomatic infections.

“From the data we have, it still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said at a news briefing from the United Nations agency’s Geneva headquarters. “It’s very rare.”

“We have a number of reports from countries who are doing very detailed contact tracing,” she said. “They’re following asymptomatic cases. They’re following contacts. And they’re not finding secondary transmission onward. It’s very rare.”
If asymptomatic spread proves to not be a main driver of coronavirus transmission, the policy implications could be tremendous. A report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published on April 1 cited the “potential for presymptomatic transmission” as a reason for the importance of social distancing

Because impeachment failed. Notice that the Dems are claiming Trump is responsible for a failed economy and riots that are Dem's faults? The coup continues in many different forms now that the Russia hoax failed and the coup plotters are having to testify.

Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was at the red-hot center of the Robert Mueller probe into the phantom menace of Donald Trump's collusion with the Russians. He testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 3.
You may not know that happened. ABC, CBS and NBC ignored it that night. PBS gave the story 55 seconds. NPR gave it four minutes, but those minutes sounded bizarre.
Anchor Mary Louise Kelly said: "May I start with an observation? Does this seem a little out of left field? With everything going on in the country right now, senators are focused today on the Russia investigation?"
Hardly any customers in stores wear them here in western Colorado. Employees have to. But they pull them up and down constantly, it’s hysterical. I wear a bandana around my neck. At the checkout counter I pull it up until I step away.
Asked an employee at the local Murdocks (Ranch Supply store) if everyone there had stayed well and she said yes.
All those pre arranged safe houses for rioters to sleep in should be burned because they will be virus super spreader areas.
That's why said recovering. They were still symptomatic but past needing hospitalization IIRC. Why weren't they sent to the USNS Comfort or the Tent hospital in Central Park or just home? It was a recipe for disaster requiring Nursing Homws/Assisted Living facilities to admit them. Cuomo has many deaths on his hands.
Yes. There is a good, but hear breaking pic, of a large banner suspended to a bridge. The banner reads, “Cuomo killed my mother.” He killed alot of people’s family members.

The “asymptomatic spreader” was a big reason for spreading the panic, over and above the real threat of symptomatic spread.
If you are not sick, you really are and you are spreading the virus, so stay home, stay away and wear a mask. They say the same thing about white people being racist, but we just don’t know it. Good grief. Start school, put everything at 100% capacity and move on with it. My friend’s mother died Sunday and they still have to have a small funeral. Insane.
The real virus spreaders are the assclowns in the media.
Defund the media!
Oh No -— you mean the experts were WRONG again???!!!
