Clearly you can’t trust the police to have your back.
You are on your own in the event of civil strife.
That is no longer a debatable proposition.
Lessons (they don’t want you to know):
—Storefront businesses of any kind are very risky.
—Rural areas are much safer than urban areas.
—Citizens need to work with their neighbors to have a plan to protect their neighborhood
—The police are just not relevant to this discussion—act as if they are not going to be there when you need them.
