This is exactly spot on! Far too many of us fail to understand that the Police Chief of a city are Political Appointees who serve at the will of the Mayor and NOT of the Public (read Taxpayer). Elect a Worthless Commie Scum Sucking Puke as your Mayor (Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner is a prime example) and you will get an equally Worthless Commie Scum Sucking Puke (Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo).
The remedy to this problem? Stop putting Socialist Commies into any Public Office that has even the slightest amount of power and control of anything. It’s just that simple!
