In advance, I apologize for the Vanity Post - but I did want to take a minute to gauge Freeper opinion on recent developments. This thread is a bit long but please read it.
We've had the COVID-19 scare for quite some time now. It has had a negative effect on this nation, economically and socially.
Combine that with the recent rioting in many US metro areas (including mine - which has thankfully died down for now) and my question is this...
How do these things bode for President Trump and the GOP in November?
Do the American people rise up and say enough is enough? We need a strong leader to bring this nation back?
In the suburbs, do the soccer moms clutch their pearls and believe all will be well if they vote Dem or they suddenly realize that the rioting could take place in their neighborhoods or that they might have to cut back on soccer camp for little Brianna and little Jason because their husband is out of work?
Do blacks and Hispanics in the inner city suddenly realize that their Dem leaders have more or less tossed them over the side and decide to vote GOP - maybe not in overwhelming numbers but at a better rate than before?
Given the 24/7 media drumbeat has been "Trump Bad, GOP bad, white privilege bad", has the damage been done and we'll soon embark on a sustained period of Dem dominance nationwide?
I'd like your opinions.
If we can block voter fraud, Trump wins this handily.

Imagine what’s in store the night he wins. It could make the recent riots look tame by comparison. The hatred for him is insanely intense.
Interesting. Anarchy, looting and economic devastation certainly doesn’t benefit them either.
You may be onto something.
Good grief, why are you even on FR? Please go back to your bunker.
Side Bar..Point of Interest: The 2020 primary election vote tally last night in the five States that both Trump & Biden were on the ballot....Maryland, Indiana, Montana, Pennsylvania, New Mexico.
Democrat, Joe Biden = 1,515,511 votes
Republican, Donald J. Trump, 1,769,081 votes
Not a good night for Democrat, Joe Biden!!!
If the flock of Americans watching Tucker every night tells us anything it’s that thugs on the left have overplayed their hand...
Made my day!
Mueller showed he was mentally defiant on national TV. Then Pelosi stepped up to also get on the mentally defiant team and now Biden is going to be crowned team captain
autcorrect is not your friend
Time will tell; thank God the elections aren’t being held today.

The people were trying to get back to some noralcy but the demonrats just can’t have that. It wasn’t enough for them that many small businesses had to close so with all the rioting, burning shops and beating the owners more small businesses will close forever. It also keeps We the People upset and on edge not knowing which way to turn.
There will be more virus spikes due to the riots and it’s already starting. My county more than doubled its cases in the one month since opening back up. Then there was Memorial Day weekend and now we have riots, uh, protests scheduled as far out as two weekends away. FYI, they’re now busing protesters to small town America just to terrorize grandma going to the store that’s probably locally owned.
This chaos will continue to the elections. That’s the plan. It’s obvious.
Yes, and the result will not be accepted by either side.
Prepare, prepare, prepare.
Mr Rosenstein, before I continue, is it pronounced [STEEN] or [STEIN] ?
Anyone, who believes that President Trump lost votes because those people are rioting and protesting has severe TDS and other organic brain disorders.
Any who does not believe that every new gun buyer equals at least one vote for Trump, also has severe TDS and other organic brain disorders.
You’re right.

You left out one. Have you forgotten already?
We are currently dealing with crisis #3.
And I have no doubt that 4 and 5 will be along soon.
Buckle up. The summer of 2020 will make 1968 look like a Sunday School Picnic.
