The riots can literally be brought to a halt quickly. As fast as possible, or order them made, convert 12ga shotgun shells to shoot rock salt. Shoot protesters who become violent, loot or throw things with rock salt in the legs, buttocks or back (not the head). They are finished for the session once hit.
Some will have to pull every piece out with tweezers. Nothing will stop the pain short of pulling out the salt. This was a very effective method used many years ago before these ignorant young people were born to deter theft of watermelons and the like. Extremely effective. Should be able to avoid killing anyone with this tactic.
How about put out an arrest warrant for the CEO of Twitter?

Those dye bags for banks/safes are a real fascination for me.
Use drones to drop dye packs. Folks will be visible for weeks with the dyes, if they make them semi-permanent.

I live in CA and can't legally shoot an invader unless in my house. So no worries about my tomatoes...ha. The wife and I have a pretty solid protocol when it comes to home invasion, no matter what room we're in. We've actually practiced. Won't go into specifics, but it includes the Wife calling 911 and stating in some way we are in fear for our lives, keeping the line open and offering no other information as I do my part. Those are magic words in CA.
The more I think of it, the more I think having a few rock salt shells handy might be a good idea. Let’s say it’s noon, and I’m in my kitchen, maybe 30 feet from my front door. And boom! Somebody kicks my front door in. Maybe I’d want the first shot I fire to be non-lethal.
Others might disagree, seeing as this is the beginnings of a home invasion. But I’d rather not do someone grievous harm if I can avoid it. Moral reasons, legal reasons, etc. Of course, sometimes that’s just not possible.

That's my position on home invasion. First round bird shot, they don't run or not enough damage, next up 00. I'd rather not kill someone if they only want to steal stuff. That's probably the thinking with police with looters during these riots. Arsonists should be shot if a good clean shot before they meld back into the crowd. However, at this point and nothing seems to be working, I wouldn't cry over a looter being deaded.
Anyway, there are too many incidents of home invaders killing the residents just for fun. I have a blinding ELP38 on the end of my barrel just in case I have to leave our locked room, which is contrary to our protocol.
Someone gave me crap that I would then be a target with that light without thinking the scenario through. It's at night, I or Wife hear intruders, we lock the door, call 911, I lock and load. The invaders are wondering around with their flashlights, I'm on second story and if need to go out (unlikely), that light WILL blind them.
I know for fact because I had my wife light me up in the dark and all I could see for seconds was a huge dispersed sun like light. Sure they can shoot in the general direction, but I have the entire floor, hallway, or anywhere I point lit up. I can even see details of pictures on the lower floor. No more invaders. Again, I won't go looking for the intruders unless circumstances require.

The proper technique calls for shooting the shotgun load about 10-feet in front of the rioters, This kicks up dirt and debris from the road, effectively doubling the impact of the shot.
I have not posted a DESIRE for lethal violence. THAT would be if I expressed a wish to face protesters with an AR platform. Have I written that yet? Anyone posting something like you just posted works for the other side. Message to every one of you like that: My father correctly said many times years ago before he passed away, "Be careful what you wish for, you may get it." That applies to rioters and thugs trying to start a revolution, not to me, who wishes to stop it from happening. If no one stands with me, well, so what? If they do, fine. You remember, that means put it in permanent memory, what I just wrote.
