I don’t know how this works. But with the COVID-19 situation, I imagine the lawyer tasked with this has not had anything else to do. No excuse to be late. And I would sort of hope that the court told them that this was the expectation right up front. June 1 is June 1. Don’t miss the date.

But we shall see.

He will be denied. He had ten days which is more than enough and a very weak or non-existent case for his actions.

Lawyers can work from home. Its all about billing. I know of one lawyer who billed for 25 hrs in one day. He eventually was disbarred.
