What a great defense mechanism for our vehicles.
The Model T had an ignition coil that also had breaker contacts built into it. If remember right, you connected the + terminal to the battery + terminal and then had a wire connected to the - side and let the wire drag on the ground. The result was raising the vehicle’s body to a high voltage.
You can but you can get into a lot of trouble. Remember when breaking off hood ornaments for a necklace was popular? I do.
