“You keep doing homework. Ive got 41 years on your homework. Have a good day.”
Apparently none of it related to electric propulsion?
A PT6 is 275 lbs. The electric motor is 300 lbs and you still have the battery weight. I dont see the savings.
“A PT6 is 275 lbs. The electric motor is 300 lbs and you still have the battery weight. I dont see the savings.”
I found 300 for turbine and 297 for electric. Basically a wash.
There is no weight savings. Never said there was. What I posted was that they size the battery based on the max fuel capacity.
Battery weight = Fuel weight
Battery position is same as fuel tanks
Electric weight = turbine weight
Electric position = Turbine position
Keeps certs and calcs close

300# savings comparing electric to Beaver radial!
Then a PT6 would be 325 lbs savings plus half the battery weight for three times the range. Arent you tired of this back and forth? This is not about a performance contest. Its no contest. This is about claiming green-niss

Could you factor in fuel, maintenance and overhaul costs pt6 versus electric?
“Then a PT6 “
Who is going to deliver the fuel to the seaplanes?
“Its no contest”
$150 per hour versus $15 per hour fuel costs.
No contest.
“. Arent you tired of this back and forth?”
Nope. I learn a lot.
Not only that, if you don't use your cell phone too much, you can use the excess to run your Tesla.
