TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) President Donald Trump asked via Twitter if NBC would fire political talk show host Joe Scarborough based on an unsolved mystery years ago in Florida.
Trump added, Investigate! in the Wednesday tweet.
It was an apparent reference to the death of Lori Klausutis, who worked in Scarboroughs Fort Walton Beach congressional office.
THE FACTS:
The 2001 death was investigated after Klausutis was found dead in the office. It isnt considered a mystery.
An autopsy revealed that Klausutis had an undiagnosed heart condition and a coroner concluded she passed out and hit her head as she fell. The coroner said the head injury caused the death, but she wasnt struck by another person.
The death occurred a month after Scarborough announced he was leaving office. Scarborough was in Washington when Klausutis died.

well if the AP. CNN, or the Wash Post fact checks it then it must be true.
Quick tell twitter all is good as the AP looked into it.
Apparently one of the side effects of taking hydrochlorqiue is it turns you into Michael Moore!
AP Fact Check. Boy am I ready to believe them! Facts are something unrecognizable in that arena.
The woman made a stupid choice being there.
She was the office manager, not an intern.
Monk could solve this cold case in under an hour, including commercials.
Autopsy.
Thanks,I read once that it was an intern.
does AP dispute Imus’ claim and Joe’s tacit acceptance that they’d had a sexual affair?
Who was the coroner and what is his background?
Yes, as her husband said. She had an undiagnosed heart condition. Jesus why won’t you people let this go?
there’s a gay democrat campaign donor who’s had several “human sex toys” die at his place.
The question is how can you tell if a heart is not beating properly if it’s not beating at all? EKG no good at autopsy.
AP and facts are not congruent.
>>many law enforcement agencies are riddled with corruption, even if this young ladys death was an accident, suspicions remain.
Bobby Fuller fought the mob and the “law” won.
???????
A heart condition can make you faint. High blood pressure, low blood pressure, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, pericarditis or arrhythmia can make you faint. Some of those could be detected by an autopsy. Please don't spread disinformation.
There’s been Coroners that said people committed suicide when they were shot in the BACK of the head! I think Clinton had one of these type of coroners!!
I remember when Scarborough was a republican and the democrats were the ones accusing him in her death. There were suggestions the autopsy was altered as a favor to the Bush family.
Now that Joe is lead on MSNBC the liberals defend him. There must be archival stories that would show this flip in the media for those who know how to search the way back machine.
The tenets of good journalism is supposedly truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness, and public accountability.
For both accuracy and truthfulness this article or any such ones should clarify which heart condition of those you listed. Also, how it was detected in her autopsy. Why her heart condition did not show up on physicals and how was she supposed to have ran marathons without issues.
It will be an easier to digest and agree if it doesn’t sound like pure speculation. Fainting and death for someone twenty-four is extremely low. Fainting is elderly problem and concern. What is the chance of dying from fainting at twenty-four, one-in-hundred-thousand, one-in-million?
It would be nice to have a well written article with facts if the author wants to discourage conspiracy theories.
