Wonderful sight for me yesterday - thousands of people packed like sardines at the beaches in Galveston, Texas. Not a single mask was to be seen anywhere. Thousands of people who live without fear is a great thing to see. I can’t imagine living in a state that keeps people from the sun and the waves in order to “protect” people from Coronavirus.
Another restriction that needs to go is the youth sports ban. How many people’s lives have been saved by shutting down youth sports for the past 2-3 months? The answer is a very low number and, in exchange, we have let many kids get unmotivated and fat.

In the upper half of the graph, Swine Flu and Covid-19 are enlarged out of all proportion to earlier pandemics that reached 1+ million deaths in that chart. I get that there is some skewing in size due to the decision to show the chart in “perspective”, but the Covid-19 spikey-ball should be no larger half its shown size. It’s accurate when you look at the bottom half.
