It seems to be one extreme or the other with this Kung Flu.
I have relatives who couldn’t be darned with this whole thing and are sunning and drinking themselves silly after flying to Panama City, FL. After all, you have to celebrate your birthday as normal. In that same family, there are others who are cowering in their cave, unwilling to venture out of the house without a hazmat suit, and plan to stay that way “until there is a vaccine”.
Personally, I think both sides are nuts. I don’t know about totally ignoring precautions, but locking down hard until big Daddy government says it’s okay to peek your head out isn’t very healthy either!
I'm sure that the scientists did a double blind study and determined to the nearest hundredth of an inch that the virus his a wall at six feet.
The lockdown is over when we say it is over.
Think about it. You've been stuck inside for weeks. Now you're set free, your unemployment check is higher than what you normally earned working, you've got an extra 12 hundred bucks in your pocket, and valley weather is hitting a hundred.
"Let's go to Flag!"
Maybe California will notice and open up fully. Doubt it. California and other the other confederate states will have to be forcibly opened by the Federal government. The Feds will do nothing, however.
The “6 feet” thing is just keeping people beyond the distance that respiratory droplets typically travel after a cough or sneeze, or while talking. Those droplets are the method of spreading. That’s also why masks are being recommended by health experts. It’s not that they can filter viruses, but rather the respiratory droplets that come from talking, sneezing, and coughing.
Luckily, coronavirus isn’t aerosolized, so it requires those larger droplets to carry it from person to person.
God bless America!
What a fricking joke, basically click bate. Beach is empty, with some kind of smallish crowd jammed up in the city for whatever reason. Interesting this Fox Channel website is promoting NBC Prime-time content, now there’s collusion!
It appears the people spoken
In bright sunshine with a 15mph breeze off the Atlantic?
Don’t worry about social distance at the beach.
6 inches apart in that breeze is like 16 feet apart inside a grocery store.
See 31.
I’m sure that there is an app for calculating the adjustment to the 6 foot rule when the wind is blowing. /sarc
“The 6 feet thing is just keeping people beyond the distance that respiratory droplets typically travel after a cough or sneeze, or while talking.”
If you aren’t wearing goggles my mask is a waste of time and only harming my health. No goggles on you, no mask needed for me.
Oh, no! People are having fun at the beach on a nice day! Ahhhh!
Right on. This “social distancing’ crap is made for me. By the way, the “close talkers’ must be suffering...
Binder #4, page 354, paragraph 8c
They are pretty safe. The increase of daily ultra-violet rays and the virus’ inability to live on surfaces, especially in the light, drastically reduces your chances of getting it. Probably 10 times safer outdoors than in any enclosed areas.
Sounds sorta kinky.//
