Like most people, I checked it back in the day. But after they started with the virus hysteria in March, I deleted it from all my favorites and such.
Wasn’t DrudgeReport sold out to unknown buyers?
I used to go there a dozen times a day. I haven’t been there more than a dozen times in the last two years. I do think Drudge sold it a while back.
Supposedly Drudge sold it and signed an NDA which even if true is quite shady on his part since this the site’s big draw is to trick people with his reputation. Drudge himself has been very squirrely about the entire thing, refusing to say anything one way or another, except to defend the website once or twice. I mean if you hate Trump now, why not just come out and say so?

It’s now a low-tech huffpo. I stopped going about a year ago.
I go once a week just to laugh my ass off at how bad it is. Like National Enquirer on steroids. If you simply assume the world is the opposite of Drudge, you are on the right track.
It’s a well-known fact Mad dredge took his hundred million or so and sold out to the main stream media about five years ago
Matt drudge cut his teeth during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and his was the best website on the planet to learn all the regulations on that subject
DRUDGE used to be my “go to place.”
Now it’s my “STAY AWAY PLACE.”
I think he sold out to ultra liberals, and may be from within his family members...
at least that’s the rumor I heard.
I consigned Sludge to the dustbin of history around 4 years ago! The stench is extreme there now!!
Drudge is the new Huffington Post.
Drudge is blocked in my router’s security settings so even by mistake I don’t give him a hit. He wants to enjoy little boys in his retirement, that’s his wish.. But his site won’t get another hit from me.
Drudge has taken the blue pill and is serving his new masters.
Took me a while to actually stop going there but I’m there. Or I mean, I’m not going there. At all.
I deleted that bookmark earlier this year, even before the coronamadness.
Checked it a few times since, but have broken the habit. Can’t remember the last time I visited the site. I remember reading on another, maybe Bongino, that traffic to Drudge had fallen precipitously.
Did I mention that I once gave Drudge a headline story that was his banner for over a week? Lol of course I did.
Back then it was such a thrill, I emailed him and he called me in about 5 minutes. Put up the story while we were still talking.
He seemed great then. We made some chit chat, he was commenting that liberal guests were rude to him in the Fox green room.
That was during Bill Clinton. It was only the last 6 months I completely stopped checking Drudge Report.
Used to be a place I went to for a different view of the news than the main media’s.
Now I just check it to see the mainstream view!
