So I wrote another Rona tune with my buddy Larry Chaney. The first one, Corona Saturday Night, was written 1 week in and we were still digging staying home with our fams. This one, Crampin My Style, was written 8 weeks in, from a different perspective.
While filming my small town local park, some criminal dads were practicing baseball with their kids on one of the diamonds. They looked at me suspiciously, probably worried I would report them for illegal family fun behind the yellow tape.
Please feel free to share.

Well done!
Thanks for the link.
pretty pretty preeetttty good!
Nice. Very nice actually!
You guys are GOOD!
I really enjoyed your music video. The quality of the musicianship makes it a “keeper” in that it’s something I would put into regular rotation, not just Corona.
REally enjoyed the music and stylish video. The lyrics about children not being able to play together made me (sadly) recall a photo of school children, each in their own separate “play squares” alone - and each square 6 feet from the other play squares.
THank you for sharing your video - I’m going to go listen to it more before lights out.
Nice work! Good tasteful tune & arrangement, good video production.
Well done.
This is an awesome song to share with others. I’m sending it to DJT at the White House website.
Filmmaker Creates Country Song that Rejects Fear, Remembers America in Pandemic
In a time of non-stop bad news coming from every corner of the media during the CCP pandemic, a reminder of the American spirit can encourage us out of the doldrums. Thats exactly what inspired former PJTV contributor Chris Burgard to create the new country song and video, American Heart. With the subtitle, You cant lock down an American Heart, the video has caught fire, with more than 20,000 views in the first 48 hours since its release.
With good reason. The song came out of a desire to show that fear had kept America in shackles, and that we have the power to reject it.
I asked Chris how this song came about, and he tells a very cool story. He says that the video shoot, which took place on his California horse ranch met with strong skepticism at first. It took several weeks to put together a shoot, and at first it was just Chris and his guitar. Too many folks he invited declined, citing the virus as a reason to stay inside.
As he began setting up the video and the music, however, folks began to emerge. Soon, he had a full, professional, concert-quality country band at his ranch. Check below for the biosthere are a lot of big names in the industry that came together for this effort.
Rest of story at link above. Enjoy.
Great job! Thank you for sharing your time and talent!
