Hollywood celebrities couldn’t resist freaking out after President Donald Trump made a surprise announcement Monday that he is taking hydroxychloroquine with zinc. The commander in chief said that he has been taking the anti-malaria drug for more than a week under his physician’s care and so far feels fine.

Even the left-wing Snopes has debunked claims that the president owns a financial stake in the drugmaker. But that didn’t stop financially illiterate Hollywood stars from resurrecting the hoary claim on Tuesday to smear the president.
Barbra Streisand led the social media charge, implying that President Trump is taking the drug for financial gain.

Mia Farrow also implied that the president has ulterior motives for mentioning hydroxychloroquine. Actor Adam Goldberg echoed the sentiment, wrongly claiming that Trump is an “investor.”

I dont believe Trump’s claim that he is taking hydroxychloroquine. What doctor would prescribe it for an older, obese guy with a heart problem? It is ineffective in preventing coronavirus and increases rate of cardiac arrhythmia. My question is.why is he pushing it?

Are they complaining that it’s not safe...as if you might get sick from taking it?
Or are they suggesting its safe to digest, but isn’t an effective cure?
If it’s the former, then why is it prescribed for other illnesses?
If it’s the latter, then how is it any different than taking say...two glasses of milk to cure it? Ineffective yes, but not harmful?
Obviously, the media is ONLY interested in attacking Trump, because in either of the above cases it makes no sense at all.

They drink alcohol to excess, pop pills non-stop, snort all sorts of stuff up their noses, stick needles into their veins, shoot botox into their bodies, and get sliced and diced in an attempt to prevent wrinkles, and they have the nerve to speak out against President Trump for using the prescribed medication Hydroxychloroquine?
First of all, President Trump is in great shape - as evidenced by him having the energy of nearly ten men. But secondly, IF someone were in a high risk category - wouldn’t you want them to take a medicine that is reported by many to have strong preventive properties with respect to CoVid? That is the HCQ and zinc supplements? I could understand being more cautious regarding the antibacterial azithromycin - but HCQ and zinc are pretty benign (as long as you don’t take 15x the recommended dose - as did that poor fellow who went with the aquarium cleaner treatment).
Hollywood illiterati would freak out if Trump said tbe sky is blue...or water is wet...
