You didn't refute anything he wrote and he said that we did it to ourselves, which is correct.
It may have been a bioweapon, intentionally released by china, but the real impact was caused by our own, self inflicted fear and panic, which caused the insane shut down.

It isn’t “just” the flu. For people in nursing homes, it is vastly worse. For the young, it is vastly LESS. So why are we keeping young workers from working? Why aren’t we spending bucks protecting the nursing homes?
And of course, it also thrives in filthy subways. Why has NYC gone so long refusing to CLEAN UP THEIR DAMN SUBWAYS?
For those of us who live where subways are sandwiches, and who are not in a nursing home and don’t have severe health issues already, it is a pretty low risk virus.
Trump is vastly better than the Democrats, but he is also someone whose world view is too closely tied to NYC. NYC was hit hard because people who live cheek to jowl, smelling each other’s farts while living in filth, are high risk. And almost no one wants to tell them so!

I can’t find the segment online to post here, but Liz Wheeler’s show on OAN last night was outstanding!! The first part primarily was about the lockdown had how counter-productive (even dangerous) it was. Lots of comparisons between flu and WuFlu Great show.
China didn’t act alone - the left, who is highly invested in China and aligns well with the communist/fascist principles that China uses to control its people, were co-conspirators. Just watch how the media fans the flames of fear while speaking against known treatments that are highly successful (like HCQ).
The one good thing, the ONLY good thing that is coming out of this is that it’s laying bare some of the top players on the left. It shows that they don’t care about the people of this country, but only about power over them (us). It shows that fear is a great weapon if the right channels of propaganda are used. (recall that 90% of the mainstream media is owned by 6 entities, and that those 6 entities always operate in unison, from the same script).
Soon, I hope. I dread watching people in Walmart meandering around with their ill-fitting mask, thinking that they are residents of communist China.
