LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) - Another protest is planned for Lansing today. But the organizers arent bringing guns. Theyre bringing scissors, clippers and chairs.
Operation Haircut is organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition which put on the first Lansing Operation Gridlock on April 15.
Protesters with guns are expected to piggyback on the event.

Seely says this is about whats safe and small businesses setting up chairs on the lawn and offering their services free. This will include barbers, hair stylists, massage therapists, dog groomers, and seamstresses.
Jose Lozano has let his hair and beard grow for the two months salons have been closed. He plans to drive to Lansing in support of the protest and get a trim.
Deanna Coursey has been a stylist for 30 years and is also going to Lansing to see the protest. She has been living on unemployment and federal PPP for the last two months and says salons can operate safely.
Owosso Barber Karl Manke opened his shop in violation of the Governors Executive Orders and was shut down when the state pulled his license. Shelley Luther drove up from Texas where she was put in jail for two days for opening her salon. Both will be in Lansing Wednesday.

My wife is having her hair done today...if MS had waited another week, she would have gone “underground” to get it done.
I gave myself a Mohawk two weeks ago. I had the electric shears that I bought decades ago for cutting my own hair but never got around to it. So they were brand new. My wife did the back. Unless you buzz the entire head it’s almost impossible to cut hair with a little style.
My hair is long and disheveled. I’m bathing infrequently. I protest draconian State government rules. I don’t trust the FBI.
My God, I’ve turned into a 60’s hippie.
It’s been a few months for me. I’m letting my freak flag fly.
My son has four roommates at the house they rent. All engineers and geeks.
A few weeks ago, they decided to try haircuts. Each one took hours as they were using calipers to measure hair length.
Now that there is funny......
