I think the mask thing is stupid, other than when you’re sick/coughing to keep your sneeze spray and lung butter off of things other people touch. (gross even if not infectious)

But I have yet to hear of any cases, let alone in any numbers, of people getting brain infections from the Chinese Chest Cold.

Mandating that people wear masks “at all times” even when outside and not near people, is just asinine.

The article does not give any evidence at all that wearing a face mask causes the virus to enter the brain. It is one anti- mask doctor’s speculation.

The linked article within the article discusses patients with neurological symptoms but does not say that any of them were wearing masks. The elderly patients were unlikely to have been.

There is also a link to an article claiming that universal masking dropped Austria’s new infections by 90%. That would reduce neurological damage by a similar factor, unless you can point to a significant uptick in neuro problems there.
