I dont know what the heck is wrong with my eye but havent been around anyone to get “pink eye” . Never have had pink eye in my life. Dont even know what pink eye really looks like beside various photos on the net.
But at the first sign of something that could be detached retina I saw on texags you need to get immediate treatment because things in your eye die and can’t be repaired.
They have several eye doctor and married to eye dr people on there.
So if you get an eye issue know the signs of detached retina
You don’t need to catch pink eye from someone else. The membrane on the eyeball just gets inflamed, and yes, it does feel like there’s teeny shards of glass in the eye.
I get pink eye often, that’s how I know.
Interesting, I had something similar about 20 years ago. Started with a cough then the severe blood shot eyes for about a week.
No sooner did that clear up but I had a flare up of herpes blisters in my throat like I had never experienced before in my life. Starting at the back of my mouth then down the throat, solid blisters for almost a month that felt like it was on fire. My doctor had to prescribe an oral mouthwash designed to numb my throat which really didn't work very well. But the weirdest thing was how long that flare up lasted.........
