He and Martin Mull were hilarious in that spoof.
Comedy just isn’t the same these days. The current crop of
comedians wouldn’t know funny if it bit them on the ass.

He’s one of those guys who was on TV for years. For me, his most memorable stuff was on “Real People” and Johnny Carson’s show.

I always get this guy mixed up with Willard Scott for some reason. The guy who does the Ronald McDonald clown and wished people happy birthday on their 100th.
He always brought a smile to my face. May God rest his soul.
I loved him as the misspeaking mayor in Steve Martins “Roxanne”.

I put him, Martin Mull, and Bob Newhart in the same group of favorite types. All great, but Bob Newhart does edge them out, but only by a little.
He was in so many things, and we enjoyed him in all of them.
Loved his natural sense of humor.
