OK, I bite
What does this mean?
Honestly, I get a very suspicious when I hear the term ‘Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force’ coming from the federal government.
My ancestors did not cross the Atlantic Ocean to escape feudalism and the depravity of the European aristocracy, fight and die in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and all the wars in between just for their descendants to become slaves.
In honor of my ancestors who fought for my freedoms and due to my own beliefs, I will fight, kill, and die before I and my family becomes slaves.
A shot across the bow toward China, I believe. There can be no doubt that much of Chinese merchandise is made in conditions resembling slavery.
We may have winked at it in times gone by; but DJT is saying clean it up or we exclude the merchandise.
I think it’s rhetorical at this point; but our President is not against using rhetoric.
