Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday that he’s “concerned” about the revelations that the city’s health commissioner ignored an NYPD request for 500,000 surgical masks amid the coronavirus crisis, telling a police official that she didn’t give “two rats’ asses about your cops” – and added it would be “inappropriate” to say.

“I need to understand what happened here. I am concerned about it,” de Blasio said during his daily press briefing when he was asked about the callous comments made by Dr. Oxiris Barbot.

DeBlasio who hired this affirmative action ninny doesn’t give two rat’s asses about the cops either so I see no reason why he is “concerned” about her attitude.

Today our city is celebrating the #LunarNewYear parade in Chinatown, a beautiful cultural tradition with a rich history in our city. I want to remind everyone to enjoy the parade and not change any plans due to misinformation spreading about #coronavirus.

Pelosi did the same thing in Frisco China-Town. Talk about behind the curve.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh Tries To Dispel Coronavirus Fears With Chinatown Lunch

“The people that are out there saying on social media, being racist towards the Chinatown community and Chinese people in general, I’m asking you to stop,” he said. “Enough with that hate mongering. We’re better than that.”

It’s not too hard to figure out.

She knew that the people on the front lines with the disease were going to need the masks, not people writing parking tickets.

She said it like you would say it in New York. Hopefully it didn’t hurt the police chief’s feelings.

A competent mayor wouldn’t have to deal with that issue as they would have hired a professional to run the Health dept.

And if they did something like that, they wold be suspended immediately to investigate and fired if found to be true.

a competent mayor would have mace peace with the PD on day 1 and not given his wife 850 million in mental health funds to enrich him and his supporters.

Notice how the states with highest COVID cases and death have the most inept and pathetic people to head the various health departments? It is sickening seeing NYC 9/11 and this NYC COVID-19. The spirit, fight, courage and can do attitude is lost in the current crisis on top of electing the most worthless scum to manage one of the greatest cities on the planet. How does a city forget everything and care less?
