Pick a disease. Then google it. See if we really lead with some huge margin.
Yes, you can construct moron arguments by comparing the US health care system to some tin pot backward African failed state, but if you compare us to other Western European nations, Japan, Australia, and South Korea, things look a bit different.
I had a kidney stone and the awesome professional health care system here in the US gave my Tylenol for pain management. TYLENOL! Now the new fad/trend is “opioid addiction” so you can’t get pain meds even if you need them.
My wife broke a took during this Corona virus farce and they gave her Motrin for an infected and broken front tooth! Having the money to pay and half a brain to think with, I could have without a doubt gotten better care in “Mexico” which you mock (and that is not a joke).
America: take vitals, fill out 20 pages of forms, ask whatever the fad of the day questions are (Ebola, now Corona virus), get all your info so they can over charge you by an order of magnitude for what the crap is worth... Wait a long time, then get Motrin or Tylenol. Yeah, such great health care.
Probably advice from the midwife
Hey, all you folks, what do you say about this?

Hmmmm. Those crazy home birth folks! Only in a hospital where they test you 3 times for Corona virus are you safe to give birth, in America.
My stepdaughter was over 40 and wanted the home birth experience. The baby died thirty minutes before delivery. No conditions caused except it didnt get any oxygen.
Fearbro Fauci is totally to blame for this. But not for the advice of the noted “scientist,” Ms Bosworth would have been in a hospital where her unusually large child would have likely survived.
Hey guys,
I’m but a simple former Infantryman (small mind - strong back). I need one of you mental heavy weights to explain to me what this means:

I’m so sorry for the loss of your baby. Thanks for sharing your story and your daughter’s.
Babies die in hospital deliveries, too. Hospitals aren’t necessarily safer nor are doctors necessarily smarter than midwives. I’ve seen doctors create more problems wich ended up requiring more medical intervention than should have happened.
What??
Yes green stuff came out when her water broke. Thats when decided not a have a pool party birth and took ambulance to hospital.
Outstanding summary.
Meconium.
Wow.
Never crossed my mind she didn’t have an ultrasound done when making the decision.
Excellent point.
I felt so sorry for the mom in this story. NOt surprised she might not have had ultra sound. Our local hospital and OB GYN offer “the Amish plan” where you save 30 percent on pre-natal, labor and delivery if you pay cash. That’s what we did. One ultra-sound thru the whole prenancy unless otherwise required. I sort of wish we’d had more ultra sounds because we might have known better what was going on with Kid #2 and Kid #3. Both were tough deliveries but they survived.
Ok just squat and give birth in a field.
Not having an ultrasound is also malpractice.
Mecomium in the amniotic fluid, Means the baby released its stool in utero and is in big trouble.
People are not going to have health care. Not going near hosptials or stand alones because of covid scares.
many many people didnt have ultra sounds before 1985.
it was normal not to except if there was a problem. and before that in the seventies, they werent.
argumentum ad absurdum
Her OBGYN should have told her how big that baby was going to be she is an IDIOT!!
